this one is like that - a statistical tool whch throws out anything outside of 2 standard deviations. So if your score is in the highest 2.5% of the rest, or the lowset 2.5%, it is just not counted. In other words, if your score on a particular guy is not within the bell curve of 95%, you're probably off anyway. Throws off outliers, and doesn't allow the Gustavos to beat the Dexters

Shouldn't Rusty's DVD go to the WORST poser?... kinda like a booby prize. The best poser obviously doesn't need it, though having said that Rusty might want to send a copy to most (if not all) of his fellow IFBB pros.

Also, if posing is being judged... does that mean the poses are being video taped like I suggested?

Just to clear things up. The rules were amended (see previous post and the main page) so anyone can enter the contest as long as you register on Getbig one month before judging (Sept. 22, 23).

I agree.... only let people who have been true getbiggers compete... otherwise its a farce.... people from other sites exploiting the competition..... then going back to their sites and bragging how they got one over on the guys at GETBIG

The #'s show a big Increase in members and just overall activity last winter, i say anyone who has been on at least a year before the contest date should def be eligible

Another question is if anyone that had a meltdown should be allowed to enter? I think Getbig has a responsibility here, I don't want to hear this old debate over competitors that have no health insurance etc

As a judge I too think that only True Getbiggers can join the show. I would have the date be the date the very first person who enter the contest. Making it a month out seems unfair to me cause guys from other boards who really don't come on here can compete and possibly take away the title. But they aren't true Getbiggers. Just a thought.

I hear what you guys are saying, that's why we made it a month out, not the day before. It's a compromise. Part of supporting Getbig is making it grow. Giving "outsiders" the chance is a great way to do that. I'm sure our sponsors feel the same way. As it is now, I really don't think you have much to worry about. We haven't made any attempt to promote it on outside boards, and the list of competitors is as follows:

"TrulyToned"
"Myseone"
"BabyHercules"
"Jr.Yates"
"Figgs"

As you can see, everyone has a good chance of winning something! All getbig regulars as far as I can tell. But anyway, it's not set in stone yet.
