6 weeks out should be the absolute minimum.

Yea maybe we can have a Mr Olympia type contest with all the winners from each Board competing in the finals. The winner will qualify for the Mr. Olympia or become a PDI pro.

I'm just giving you a few pointers and correct you everytime there's something wrong, which happens a lot. It's bad for your ego, but it's good for the contest.
Last I did was commenting on your rules that anyone could join, anytime, this was then quickly changed.

The reason Myseone (and several others) dropped out is because the contest was originally supposed to be four or five months away, lots of time for even the 20+% bf guys to diet down... (then Oliver took over and made it 8 weeks away)... not because they are scared to compete, far from it.

Now we have 15 competitors instead of the 40-something that pm'ed me wanting to compete, pity.

Notable lossses (ie: those interested but too far from contest shape to consider the short timescale):
-WarHorse
-Goudy
-300
-derekr
-fitt@40
-littleguns
-spacemonkeyz
...and though I wasn't supposed to say anything about it till the contest:
-sarcasm ...(this surprised even me)

I respect Ollie and 240's decision to run the contest the way they want to, they've been doing a great job... but in these situations hard decisions need to be made on the organisational side of things and not everyone will agree with them. Deriding those who signed up for the contest when I was running it because they've now dropped out is infantile... they thought they were signing up for a contest four months off.Very few bodybuilders would compete at their 8 weeks out condition.... except maybe, Vince G.

People didn't want to do it your way because you had about twenty different classes. Now it is how it should be - Natrual and Juiced. Your ego spiralled out of control and now you've paid the price. If you'd have listened to me and others none of this would have happened.

I have a solution, you can start your rival federation of GetBiggers and have another Mr. Get Big ...lets call it ....

Night of GetBiggers.... You already have some big names, I don't see why others wouldn't want to compete in both. I mean its all for the athletes ...Right

I can see 240 and Ollie getting upset, telling us that two GetBig federations doesn't help those in the first org....esp when if you stay with them , you have so much more you can win ....

Just for the record...

I was going to have all the competitors compete in one big open category and then award prizes for each of the subdivisions. I thought it would be more encouraging for those placing 20th if they also happened to win the teenage class, as in "...and in fifteenth place, competitor no: 26, 240 or Bust, who also wins the title of most improved" ... see how that works?
