its not all genetics, muscles such as calves and erector spinae are predominantly slow twitch muscles, and will thus require more/ a different type of work than say the chest/bicep which are fast twitch
its comin today

It all depends on YOUR genetics.
I agree with that statement.... You can train your ass off, but you can only get so far with what you been given.....

read Dr.hatfield book, bodybuilding: a scientific approach. it details muscle fiber specific training, it's the best style of training that I know of...

You can also go to www.drsquat.com and look at the articles section, the workouts are detailed there. there is also an article about the zig-zag diet which is very good.

I am a true hardgainer (predominantly slow twitch fiber Type IA) due to years of triathlon and it was only through fiber specific training and zig-zag dieting that i was able to put on some mass.

oh, and for calves, you need very high volume to make them grow cause their predominantly slow twitch fibers. they also tend to recuperate faster so you need to train them more frequently (everyday).

Maybe there isn't any medial delt and bicep equipment at your gym?

For me it's the wallet, it is only making small marginal improvements.

maybe I should become a professional bodybuilder the average guy makes....never mind.  At least they get free tshirts.
Here comes the money shot

Well laterals aren't doing the job
maybe you arent doin them properly...
i always superset my shoulders every head because they are such a small muscle i find reps work for me.... thats after i do all the heavy pressing..
so.. i'd do... like for the medial delt head i do heavy standing one arm laterals... 10 each arm after which i immediater run to a bench and with a lighter weight do 10 seated two arm side laterals.. ..or instead of seated laterals i kneel down with my back against a straught surface .. ie a pillar or a piece of equiptment so i cant use momentum.. and knock out 10 reps.. thats afte the one arm raises...
all my shoulder work outs when it comes to raises are supersetted... all the time..
choice is an illusion

I don't need to work on my calves to much. Problem is to get a peak on the biceps, but that's probably genetics.

Calves, followed by traps, I mean, traps like Goldberg is not easy, most gym rats aint got legs, so definitely Legs are the hardest thing to train
