Alright, so I read the previous thread and I don't think King has anything. Animated .Gif's are not enough to get anyone sued. For crying out loud, how many animated .GIF's do we see of our own President being used all throughout the internet that would warrant for lawsuits to be handed out like government cheese? King Kamali is a public figure, believe it or not, and part of being a public figure involves being scrutinized for all your actions and at times also taking comical hits by way of jokes, jokes in the form of .GIF files and other means. The one thing Robert did not do is threaten to hurt Shari Kamali. Mr. Kamali had made traceable threats through his username here on this site that can be verified by the owner of the site as Kamali's actual username. What Kamali did to Robert is known as Assault, plain and simple. Issues of defamation of character and of libel really go both ways in this case, because even though Kamali is a public figure, Robert is a business owner who actively advertises and does indeed have clients here on this board, so to be completely fair, as much as Kamali has a case, Robert can sling that bucket of turds right back and claim that all the bad mouthing Kamali has provided towards Robert has (in)directly hurt his business.
The only mistake I see here is that Robert should have gone to the authorities as soon as kamali made any threats of putting his well being at risk. This could have ended a long time ago. You had enough probable cause to pursue that case and could have only used Titus' recent affair as a sign/rationale that Pro bodybuilders are indeed dangerous when under the influence of sport enhancing drugs, such as Kamali has been.
I call bullshit on Kamali's threat and would truly reconsider if I were him.
