Perception of bodybuilders....................
« on: June 15, 2006, 12:14:56 PM »
saw something today that made me laugh to myself, we've got a new "trainer" at our gym, 5'10" 185lbs. shaved head, competition tan, walks with the worst case of imaginary lat syndrome i've ever seen, huge gym bag slung over the shoulders, gallon of water,5lb. container of whey protein, the days meals all packed, he was walking with his huge bag of food to the microwave and i said, "damn dude you've got enough food to feed an army" now mind you that this kid is about a buck eighty five, so he says, "yeah....you've gotta eat to grow" hahahahaha, are you f.ucking kidding me? i said, "yeah....i know what you mean" i asked him later if he had a tribal tattoo on his arm so he pulls up the sleeve on his massive 15 inch right bicep and says, "yep", no wonder normal people think bb'ers are such jackasses.

he probably tells mom he can't chip in on rent this week or his physique will suffer.

There's a trainer just like that at my gym (minus the shaved head). Looks like a complete tool.

* edit - Forgot to mention he has the rolled up sleeves as well.

i might be able to understand if this kid was some huge 280lb. mass monster but like i said he's small, can you imagine him at family barbecues with his tupperware container of chicken and rice, hahaha.

funny thing is 90 percent of the time it's 18-26 year olds, maybe they don't realize that they can do all of that shit but they're still small.

Oh no.  I have a dork at my gym that's in his late 40's early 50's like this.  Except he is at about 30+% bodyfat.  Dresses like a 16 year old...  Oh I could go on about this idiot.

What's wrong with the kid deciding to stick to his selection of meals instead of taking a break and enjoying the barbecue with the rest of the family?

I don't see your reasoning.

I've noticed that I've been almost obsessively pointing these gym dweebs out to myself for a couple of months now...

For instance, when I see an effeminate pansy in little short shorts doing cable leg kicks, I think to myself "Brutal masculinity!" or "Awesome heterosexuality!".

When I come across some pencilneck geek with 14 inch pythons (complete with tribal tattoo) doing 15lb db kickbacks, I immediately think "Monster triceps!", not to mention "Epic coolness!" or "Stupendous originality!" or "Devastating uniqueness!" regarding the ink job.

What's really bad is that I'm actually starting to say these things out loud to people... ;D

Do you consider yourself to be 'normal', or are you a bodybuilder?

15 inch bicep at his height would yield about 480 grams of protein.  Save the triceps for tomorrow's preworkout meal.
