if there are 6 grams of protein in 1 whole large egg, how many grams of protein are left after you separate the yolk from the white? just trying to figure out how many actual grams i am getting with my daily omelette.

Calorie King says one Egg yolk has 2.7 grams of protein. It also says one Egg white is 3.6 g protien...im not sure if that is correct or not.

depends on the size of the egg obviously.... but you can bank on about 3g per egg white.... it's a hell of a lot easier just to buy pasteurized egg whites in a jug or carton dude.... seperating is soooooo long

I just look on the carton- 7 servings multiplies out to 210 cals, 0 fat, 42g protein, 7g carbs.  Who has the time to separate eggs?
