TITO DESTROYED Shamrock once again... I'm not sure if Shammy even landed any shots on Tito, :57 seconds of round one ROFL... good ole ground n pound, Tito's elbows were absolutely vicious, he said afterwards he was hitting Shamrock so hard he thought he chipped one of his elbows, LOL.

About to take a beating? He got body slammed and then he took five or six unobstructed Ortiz elbows to the dome. If that ain't a beating I don'tknow what is. If the ref didn't stop it Shamrock might have ended up a vegetable. Well, more of a vegetable anyway.

ken seemed to go completely limp from the first elbow, but i dont think he was in any worse danger than Forrest and he was allowed to continue. Im not saying he would have won it from there, but Herb stepped in too early again. I understand why he did it, but let it go another 5 seconds Herb!

With the UFC's history with various politicians, most notably John McCain, who want to have the sport banned, the last thing the UFC needs is for someone to get seriously hurt or worse, especially now with the sport on the rise.

I'll pretty sure that the refs are told to stop a fight if they have any doubts.

That said, I still think the stoppage was a good one. Ken wasn't defending with either his arms or, more importantly, his legs. If you watch the fight again, you'll notice that Ken's legs were spread wide open. That's not an mma guard. That's a guy getting f*cked mma style.

Ken put on a nice show once the fight was over, but I think if you gave him some truth serum, he'd tell you he was glad it was stopped.

I agree with the last post but it wouldn't have changed the outcome one bit, Tito absolutely dominated Shamrock, once those elbows started dropping down it was good night.

The fight was horrible.

It was just a money making scheme IMO. I don't believe Tito and Ken really hate eachother. The exaggerated drama, etc; it was one last paycheck for Shamrock.

Yeah, all that bullshit on the Ultimate Fighter Show looked staged to me.

After seeing that clip, I do believe the ref stopped it a hair too fast.
