did you know that if you microwave water then let it cool then feed it to a plant it dies. something to do with radiation or something else. i remember hearing about a girl that did a science project to prove this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Actually, microwave technology was given to the U.S Government, in the 1960's, by grey aliens from Alpha Centauri. It was originally designed for use in an integrated particle beam weapons system, which utilzed proton dislocations to "dent" the eletronegativity of the target, thus causing immediate desintegration. Unfortunately, the Government sold out the secret to private industries, so as to help finance their military research. So, every time you utilize a microwave oven, you're using a grey alien technology that was never designed to be utilized by human beings, let alone for civilian purposes!

Now, on the subject of irradiation. There is a a marked differecne between radiation and irradiation. Just because something was irradiated it does not follow that it is radioactive. If you left meat in the presence of Plutonium or Cesium, for a few hours, it would become dry and putrid; yet, the meat itself would not become radioactive! Radioactivity refers to a particular property that certain  highly unstable elements, which are high-up on the periodic table, have of stabilizing themselves by stealing an electron from organic organisms. This causes a chain reaction which leads to cancer and dramatically accelerated aging. Irradiating foods does not cause that: this is caused by being exposed to radioactivity yourself - not the food. Now, microwaving is dangerous because there is no evidence that the metalic net inside the oven protects the human being from being "irradiated" himself! Shocked

Always spend that time you are standing directly in front of your microwave waiting for your food to cook to take care of any important cellphone conversations that you need to get out of the way because when your food is done you are going to be too busy sitting as close as possible to the TV to think about anything else as you shovel radioactive goop into your deservedly irradiated pie-hole.  Enjoy!

You sound like a total nutcase. If this post isn't a joke, you are a very ill person in need of professional help.

Microwaves are simply electromagnetic waves with a lower frequency than visible light. They have NOTHING to do with nuclear radiation. Microwave cooking is actually safer than regular cooking because it heats the food uniformly, eliminating cold spots where bacteria can survive.

Microwaves are generaly at a higher frequancy then visible light. But I have no idea if thats just a name or actualy the way the microwave actualy works.

1. Microwaves have a HIGHER wavelength than visible light (can be up to a foot long, actually).... check out the elecromagnetic spectrum..... this has nothing to do with frequency.

2. The radiation produced by a microwave oven is non-ionizing (not enough energy to remove an electron from an aton or molecule). As such, it does not have the cancer risks associated with ionizing radiation such as X-rays, ultraviolet light, and nuclear radioactive decay....

Stick to playing with your Barbie dolls, little girl, because you don't know shit about physics. Microwaves have a higher wavelength and a lower frequency than visible light. The electromagnetic spectrum has everything to do with frequency. The wavelength of an electromagnetic wave is inversely proportional to its frequency. This is the kind of stuff we learn in high school science class.

No, they have a lower frequency than visible light (on the order of 1 GHz).
