Most people believe whatever they are told to believe by the most likable takling head in the arena. 

Most watch the news, and take the word of the smiling talking head which tells them what to believe.  Some here will look at smiling Bob Chic and believe whatever he says without looking at the facts.  Vince, you're an educated BBing fan, and you reached your own conclusion based upon fact.  I think Bob has too.  If not, he'd certainly have jumped all over that $10k wager that Rhino offered.

While most people would agree that Jack won the show based on agreement from 'the smiling, talking heads' in the bodybuilding arena and the fact he's had several meltdowns and doubled his blood pressure over this matter, you'd have to agree that it's a little strange he hasn't produced any evidence to shut the non believers up. Why can't he even post a pic of his trophy or name one guy he beat??

I realize it's unlikely that the rules or contests were different ten years ago. I mean, the IFBB for example always has the same contests year-after-year through a whole decade, and never makes any rule changes each year, right? Why should NABBA be any different?

The most entertaining part of all of this has been you abandoning the Camp Chic argument - that Jack never won the show.  Once you got confirmation, you decided to attack the 2006 NABBA rulebook, and when you saw the NAs don't exist anymore, you got all giddy.  Well, in 96, the North America was a qualifier.

I'm not abandoning any camp. To date there is no documentary evidence to prove or disprove that Jack won the show. At this time it is also unclear if the show was considered to be a "National" show at that time. If it was and Jack did win it then he would be elligible for PDI pro status. If it was not a "National" show in the eyes of NABBA USA, then things are different?

For your informaion the NA's still exist but they are not listed as a qualifier for the Worlds.

Ok, I've now had an e-mail from Mr Gruskin that confirms that the 1996 North Americans was NOT I repeat NOT a "National" title.  He goes on to say that since 1996 if it is run by NABBA USA it can qualify competitors for the World Championships.

So the facts to date are:

Mr Gruskin states that Jack London won the North American title in 1996
Mr Gruskin states that that title was not a "National" one but could qualify someone for the Worls Championships.
Jack was given PDI Pro status based on his "National" win.
Jack London did not win a "National" title.
