I don't know what % of their listeners they get from here.  I think they have had 20,000 or so live listeners on recent shows?  I'm sure GB helped it grow.  I would be interested in what % comes from here. 

I think we've influenced the radio show greatly- they use topics, issues and questions which arise here, and honestly, they have gotten to be some pretty good hosts over the last year.  They ask some tough questions now.

Overall for those who have the common interest of BBing this is the site to be at, it's not all one tracked, you can talk about anything serious or joking with others who share your interests.

Oh, i am sure PBBW has helped getbig and vice versa!  GB has been on the rise lately.  Titus media coverage, the new radio shows, and of course, MD coverage has all helped.  Plus, when ppl come, they often stay.  Hard to find such a unique place as this out there.

Personally this is the only place i have to talk anything about BBing since i don't really know anyone from where i am from who is into BBing but you have seemed to make this site into a way for you to make a living.

in the beginning, it was a big chunk.  I'm doing a lot with local firms now- breaking that $300 pricetag by being a 'webguy on demand' for a weekly fee.  Always $300 for getbiggers, tho

getbig.com needs to 'weed out' or ban the haters until they adopt a more civilised tone rather than hiding behind a keyboard on the internet (with themselves acting as the mouse).

Haters are in the same 'gene pool' as racists, sexists, bigots ie. outdated and in dire need of an education.

Getbig provides instant access to the latest info, photo's, pro's etc... something we could only dream of 20 years ago. Kudos to Ron and friends for making this dream come true and keeping everyone informed and up to date.

So its all positive in the main!

Well I'm an example of somebody whom got interested in GB because of the radio show with referrals to the topics presented in here.
The pros posting in here make it a better experience that some other boards, without all the "looking good bro" BS when the guy is obviously a fat fuck or something to that effect i.e. most GB members speak the truth whilst some take it too far and lack rational thought, when there is room to actually agree with other members rather than flame.

As a Mod I'd love to have the ability to do this.  I can only delete post/threads or move them.  There would have to be some kind of Standard set for the weeding process. Right now it's all subjective.

Since I first started becoming intererested in bodybuilding I've been going to Getbig. I'd come here and post on the training and nutrition boards asking for advice on any little thing I'd be curious about. Making such an effort to learn about bodybuilding here on these boards inspired me to seek out new sources of info elsewhere, from the library, borrowing friends and relatives unused exercise books and by links shared by other members of Getbig. And now I'm training to win the Mr. Natural Getbig!

Getbig is what made me what I am.

The training/steroid/natural bodybuilding/bodybuilders forum are probably the best places for adult discussion. This Gossip and Opinion board is a bunch of crap. Like someone said, get rid of the "sarcasms" and "alexxx's" and this place would get alot more done.

It's relatively easy to find someone to talk about weightlifting to but nobody else that I know is actually interested in how the sport works.

For me it's hard, I am 20 and basically almost completely self taught when it come to lifting and BBing ( I got 2 mag subscription, arnolds ency, ISSA study book and even though i only have a GED i did score in the top 90-95% on all my test except reading/writing i think which was top 88% so i would say i have a fairly decent intelligence ) and it's very hard for me in my area to find anyone near my age who is on the same level as I am. I find that I only preach and give advice about lifting but never recieve anything in return but hey atleast I am being proactive.

I wonder why BBing hasn't been torn up by the media, and every BBer's house searched for steroids? All you have to do is compare pics of a natural competitor to someone in the IFBB and that is a warrant enough. "On suspicion of using illegal drugs." I really don't get it.
