I've notcied that a lot of people subscribe to the myth that Jay's midsection is better than Ronnie's. People say Coleman looks like he's pregnant with an alien queen. They also say that Cutler is more defined and therefore desrving of the Olympia crown and our jubulant adulation.

Well, enough is enough. The fact is Jay's midsection at the 2005 Mr. Olympia was horrid. Sure his abs were mor defined than Ronnie's, but that's only part of the story. Overall, it was bloated, wider than Ronnie's, and looked absolute shit. Somehow even when he's ripped to shreds and depleted, his love handles still look fat.

Unfortunately his midsection gets worse and worse every year. At the 2006 Mr. Olympia, it's going to be even worse this year and he's going to pay for it in the final placings.

last one - looked aweful. watch the prejudging on the BFTO 2005 and you'll see it wasnt even close between ronnie and Jay

2005 was Jay's last year of contention for the crown - he's going to be the new Nasser - maintaing top 6 for a couple years but never coming close to his previous best

Both mens abs are horrible in terms of genetic shape. Jays got a far wider waist naturally which doesnt help matter but his abs have in the past been far more hewn than colemans.

I mean, both men tip the scales at 270lbs and their not exactly "tall" bbers like gunter, q. taylor etc.

Something has to suffer.

There certainly is a myth that jays abs are great for a "big man". In truth theyre not, there average.

Despite his flaws, yates always maintaining a good midsection and highly delineated abs no matter what bodyweight.

Shame about the rest of him eh.

No they don't. Their waists grew from drugs they took/take. Both have great genetic shape.

I think he should pull the implants out of his delts.They look really bad.

He was never a real threat to Ronnie,not even in 2001.Anyone that watched the prejudging video knows that.

I have to admit - when standing relaxed Ronnie's abs actually look better than Jay's, but when hitting the abs & thigh Jay's got the edge over Ronnie.
