It's a pretty underrated exercise I just don't know where to fit them in my current program I need to move out in the parking lot like Ronnie!
I did them after punishing my legs....5 sets Squats, 4 Sets Front Squats, 4 Sets Leg Press. .. then 3 sets lunges,...with a straight bar only 25s.....then the last set I only used the bar..I finished with Leg Ext...
I only do them at the end. its so hard though. i usually put a barbell on my back but if the gym is crowded i'll just use dumbells and do them standing in one spot.
DB lunges are much harder than BB lunge becuase with DBs the weight is centered right over your quads. I do prefer BB lunges better though becuase it's more comfortable
