Could you do this Daddy waddy? No fuking  way I could. :o
I woul dhave to see this to believe it too..Too hard.

i totally agree i dont believe he did them without taking ALOT of breaks
i am powerlifter and bodybuilder  n at my best i pull 705 and even then there is no freakin way i can pull 225 for 100 reps straight   probably not even 50 or 60

i think ur biceps would get too pumped n just cave in!!!let alone the rest of ur body

i say no way this guy can do it  unless hes sum big time powerlifter who does 750+!! imo

only thing is alot of times on high rep deads people hurt there biceps no really worth it.  i did see a powerlifter at the gym set up a wieght near his max and he would do one rep with it then break for 30 seconds and do it again and do this 6 times.

Those are called walk aways. Lots of great deadlifters trained in that fashion.
hahahahahahahahahahahaha

I'm guessing a strongman competitor with a good deadlift would be able to get through 100 reps, with pauses thrown in.

A guy like Svend Karlsen perhaps.

interestin concept daddy, I'll give it a try.

I've been doing something similar that I found in an old ironman mag.

Try deadlifting 405 for 20 reps in under 3 minutes. I usually get to 17 or 18, working on ave. about 1 every 10 secs. Some here might find it easy but for me, the last 5 reps are a bitch...

do 20 reps with 405, now that's a workout...

he, he.. didn't see your post.. Can you do it?

I'm sure a lot of people can do 225 for 100 reps, just not in succession and definitely not in under 3 mins. There are only 180 seconds in 3 minutes so it's technically impossible...   unless you're Mr. Incredible and can do a full rep in 1.8 seconds and keep the pace to 100.

not quite but i can do your 20 reps in 3 minutes training...i've done 16 reps with 405 with no breaks and no bouncing off the floor. very intense back workout.

16 reps, you're a strong mtherfucker, I get the first 8 then I need to pause. Used to get 14 til I wrecked my back in my late 20s. Anyway, I still do a lot of deads cause I can't train very often anymore.. they work most of the body and are good for maintenance..

What's your one rep max?

how about you do a regular 4 sets with a 12-10-8-6 rep range...and not like a retard who herniates his spine doing some retarted bootcamp style of deadlifts ;)

This was the best for me...I did deadlifts first thing in the workout, sets of 12-10-8-6-4 and sometimes even 2 or 3. My back got a lot of thickness, by far the best gains i think i ever had...
Nowadays im doing a little different, at the end of the day, 3 or 4 sets of 12. A lot less weight, but its very demanding still

I've pulled 590 in a meet using an inzer belt and chalk.

i like to do reps with deadlifts when doing regular training, i get a very intense workout that way. i only do triples and doubles in the last month or so leading up to a meet.

deadlifts are my favorite and best exercise.

I would struggle, but the guy I trained with before could easily do it.

He once pulled 891 for five reps... :o

You're not built for endurance. I guess it's having more slow twich fibers. I can't remotely do anything near 700, yet bang out 225 at least 50 times.

I always advocate the dead lift as the best all around movement for thickness and mass.  It's also the true sign of a mans strength.  I used to train with a former marine who held the all services recored in his weight class in power lifting.   Man the workouts.  Just trying to move what he plays with added more muscle than any other training split I've tried, and I've used most of em.  This dude would pull 600 like I pull 400 and that was just his warm up.  If you want to get to another level.  Train with a award winning powerlifter.  Than go back to bodybuilding.  You'll never be as big or strong, if you can hang.

i agree 100%...

my best workouts are when i train with people stronger than myself. two of my regular training partners are world class lifters and hold a few state records.

I dont think you can get  "75-85" EITHER!  Did you really mean 135lbs or somthing in the beginning of this post? You advise everyone to try deadlifitng 225 for 100 reps, then you say "more like 78-85 reps" haha...dude, think about jut 70 reps! haha..thats INSANE!

What's so insane? 225 is a warm up weight for deadlifting. ..With his size he should be able to bang out 20 or more reps per set.

If you train with high volume it shouldn't be too hard.

When I deadlift I only do 2 sets to failure so that would be difficult for me.
