its a rediculous form of cardio in the sense youll be sweating and breathing like crazy your heart will be racing more than most anyother lift. you have to have strong heart and lungs to be a successful weightlifter. Unlike the true adonis i advocate ALOT of cardio or forms of cardio

I run 5 miles a day and am a HUGE advocate for cardio, but I am not a bodybuilder, I am a martial artist. Maybe I will try it with 185. :-\

I doubt many would have the balls or the strength to do it. I definitely couldn't.

We used to do that while back... like the "breathing squats".. sets of 50 reps with 275-295, then do pullovers in superset.. Expands your rib cage like a pea-cock

I know a guy who did 30 reps with 440 lbs. Incredibly, the guy has "only" pulled somewhere just under 700 lbs in contest.

They are a killer but do this sparingly. It takes a while to recover from this stuff. I wouldn't do it more than once a month tops.

only thing is alot of times on high rep deads people hurt there biceps no really worth it.  i did see a powerlifter at the gym set up a wieght near his max and he would do one rep with it then break for 30 seconds and do it again and do this 6 times.

how about you do a regular 4 sets with a 12-10-8-6 rep range...and not like a retard who herniates his spine doing some retarted bootcamp style of deadlifts ;)

Never had any biceps problems with deads but they sure as hell drain you.
