BTW, your jaywalking story (while funny)...only enforces what I've been saying. The officer CHOSE to act on the law, even though it is rarely enforced...that was HIS DISCRETION. I'm sure a hundred other people did exactly as you did without a problem.

As I explained, they're not singling out 1 or 2 people to drug test...they're not drug testing anyone...so it's fair to all.

Hypocrisy would be them telling you to take drugs, and THEN drug testing you to make sure you are all natural athletes.

No Hypocrisy as the rules states is telling your members it is illegal to do drugs, and not testing them (to uphold the rule) knowing that everyone single member takes them.

Then why exist special invite?My friend IFBB PRO Nuria Sala was in Ms.Olympia 1994 and won nothing but another federation title.
And she had beatiful body but she doesnt have that much great body for O but she was working for RAFAEL SANTONJA

Then what? If I have 180kg shredded and better than Coleman,I will be invited in Olympia!(And of course,I have to work for one of IFBB person) NO DOUBT.
And I won 3rd place of Mr.Barcelona WABBA 1995.

i agree here, if it's a rule and it's not being enforced then they should abolish the rule.

I get the impression they have made alot of these rules, i.e drug testing to get accpetance from mainstream media and IOC recognition. But they dont enforce the drug rule beacause they competitors wont look as big or sharp and then people will know that it's all been a lie in the past. I think the iffbb has shot it's self in the foot abit with it's unconsistency on policies.

Whether or not the rule is in exsistance is irrelevant...what would be relevant is if it were imposed, that all IFBB pro's be treated equally, if they were to fail, they would face the consequences.

Whether the IFBB choses to use it, is in their hands, not ours.....as far as I know...nobody was bitching about NOT being tested..!

I just read one of your other posts Chick where you said that the ifbb rules states something along the lines that they can choose the right to drug test or not and that it's not mandortory which legally can explain why they dont and can get away with it. And therefore in that regard all competitors are treated equally cause the last drug test i can remember was back in about 2000 with Jay Cutler i think.

It also explains that the "code of conduct", are a series of "guidelines" the athletes SHOULD follow....distinctly diffreent than the RULES, which are far more B&W...this is where Lee's argument has no merit, citing that many athletes have broken the C.O.C., and nothing was enforced.

Nothing HAS to be enforced, they can do nothing, issue a written warning, etc....it's THEIR discression.

BTW...Lee is wrong when he says nothing has been done, he himself had to write a letter of apology for the tirade he wrote against Ben Weider and the IFBB...Many athletes have ben reprimanded for various infractions.

first time ive seen a union rep arguing with one of the members.total conflict of interest going on here...i really cant believe this is going on.

you cant represent the people your supposed to be fighting for when your more for the powers that be, period

maybe its time to hand over the baton now you cant be impartial

I'm not a "union rep"....

As "Atletes Rep"...It's my job to EXPLAIN how and why things work...not just blindly defend anyone who has an agenda.

I've already offered to put a anonymous vote at the next Athletes meeting (Olympia)..If there is enough support, I have no problem with submitting a proposal...from what I've seen so far...there simply isn't enough interest.

Bob is a rep because he happened to be walking by Manions fax machine when Shawn Ray quit.
Think of it as the same way the PDI names its Pros. Wayne has a "Magic Wand" and taps people on the shoulder and they become magical PDI Pros.

Actually I do believe it is almost time for the major meeting at the Olympia and this is where they table the names for people who wish to contest the positions of Athlete's Rep. So anybody could have put their name into the hat for the position and help their fellow pros out in a major way. <cough> Lee <cough>.
