True Adonis, from your recent pics, I wouldnt be braging too much abotu your philososphy- you look good, but very flat muscles, i dunno man, your just over dieting imho so far..looking skinny actually.  :-\  But whatever works for you.



Well he is gonna be flat from having such low carbs.  That doesn't mean he's losing muscle.   My diet is similar to his.

post a picture to show how 'cut' you are.  Unless you are tall and have a lot of muscle that is high calories for dieting.

We all have different metabolisms. Mine just happens to be very fast, and through experimentation I've found that I need ~2500 calories per day to lose about a pound of fat per week. If I had my log with me I could post examples of my diet from day to day, but since I am in the lib, that will have to be held off 8)

Especially your front lat spread, i mean, your chest just looks flat, you look dry, skin is looking thin, but i wouldnt say your on point..you came down from some heafty weight, and you didnt keep much (lost alot of mass)...

You are natural correct?

How much healthy fats are you taking in too keep your testosterone levels up? Honestly, on only 1200cal/day I am surprised you don't burn up all your muscle.

1lb a week is fine but if you're already pretty low body fat to begin with.

It would take 3 months to lose 12lbs at that rate, and some will be water.

Now if you would of kept most of your mass, and lost BF, that would be ideal, but you kinda look like your starving yourself. And it doesnt help how lancky and long you are.



Your assessment is way off.  You have never seen my chest. I have not lost any mass whatsoever...I am bigger and leaner than last year at a higher bodyweight.

You have no clue what you are talking about.  I will be way leaner than you.  Believe that.

That is a fallacy....In a defecit fat is used as fuel anyways.

But, if I were you, I would try to get fuller. Your too flat. Thats all Im gonna say.

And there is such a thing as overdieting. Overdieting= sacrifice extra muscle...and its too obvious on your long frame.
Up the carbs, that will fill you in a little at least.

Yes you will be leaner than me. Not bc you know more, but bc of where I had to start from. Im 210 now.
This is more for fun for me and getting myself in Great offseason shape  ;D

Just myopinion. Your ches tlooks flat in that front latspread/ relaxed pose.

Healthy fats are scientifically shown to keep testosterone levels up....you need them, and people almost always underestimate their necessity.

Secondly, you obviously know near nothing about human physiology. Carbohydrates are the #1 source of energy and protein will be used 2nd. Fat is the final source to be used.

I hate doing both but since dieting is part of my favorite lifestyle since it deals with food, I have my favorite diet food and I enjoy em year-round... and besides, the heat here in So. Cali, hard intense training, raising my metabolism compensates for my cardio... BOO to CARDIO!

By doing cardio, and having the right portions of protein % Carbs% fats% you can make your body burn stored fat and the excess protein and carbs if eaten at the right times will sheild your muscle mass from loss, you on th eother hand, are starving yourself, and training hard, which is giving you a nice look, but I think your looking very skinny, and drawn in.

Wrong. Fats fall second.  Protein is not metabolized into usuable energy that efficently ESPECIALLY when in a defecit.......200 grams of fat or over will barely do anything to Testosterone levels.  Anything lower really does nothing. When dieting you shouldn`t be eating that much fat anyways.

I`ve done a traditonal bodybuilding diet of 300 grams protein 225 carb cycle to 100 grams of carbs and 50 grams fat. AND CARDIO!

Guess what happened?  I lost at the same rate as I did now. However, I was alot weaker and weighed EVEN LESS.

Go look at my past diet on Musclemayhem....You will see. I posted what I ate everyday.

MIne are about that los, def under 2000, but im shedding lot of bad weight..so im surprised you two are doing the same. this is my diet, in the basic..

meal 1- Designer prtein (40g protein) and 1/2 cups oats

meal2- 6-8 oz chicken, or fish, sometimes lean chop meat and veggies

meal3- designer protein (40g protein) and 1/2 cups oats

Workout**

meal5- 6-8 oz chicken, or fish, sometimes lean chop meat and veggies AND 1/2 cup oats

Cardio session**

meal6-  designer protein (40g protein)

bedtime
 8)

Pretty low eh?
Been following this since April, started at 240 as of today im 210..

In Arnold's book he writes that you should get at least 1g protein per pound, enough carbs to stay out of ketosis, and 20% should be fat.

So say you're 180lbs.

200g protein  (20 more than need to be safe)

75g carbs will keep you out of ketosis safely. 

30g fat.  (around 20% of total calories)

=1450 calories.
