King has never taken dead last at any show....he'll be there.
The key to being a champion is overcoming these obstacles, and making progress by using your experiences to make the appropriate changes.
As I said on the radio...King is not a quitter. He's busting his ass this week to make those changes, and will be on that stage to battle for a top 5 spot.
Sorry Bob. I know Kings your boy, treated you well after you placed second to him in the Nationals (I still can't figure that one out), was nice to me when I met him in 2001 but his antics have gotten old and it doesn't make bodybuilding more interesting. He isn't Hulk Hogan and it's the IFBB not the WWE. He isn't funny, amusing, witty or entertaining. Shoving George? I don't care how much of a pain George became, that was TOTAL bullshit. Yeah try that with almost ANYONE else and that motherf*&cker would end up gettin b*tched in a hurry. Count on it.
I spent the day with Dave Fisher at Mike Neveux's studio, who placed 16 at Europa and should have been 10 or 11. Dave at 43 has it all over King in on Kings best day. I'll say it again, how King ever placed higher that you (5 or 6 times, right?) is a mystery to me. But what do I know, I'm just a old f#*k who's still got 20/20 vision and a idea of what a Pro should look like and how a Pro should conduct one's self. It's called sportsmanship and camaraderie.
If you want to help King give him a dictionary and have him look up and understand those words. As yet, he doesn't. I’m not convinced, he has the intellectual acuity TO understand the terms once he does study them but at least at some adolescent level, he may begin to absorb the concepts. We all have to start somewhere.
Yeah Max is on a rant.
