Sounds like your problem is more of a mental issue.

I took almost a year off and now lifting again.
After 7weeks in the gym I am back in shape.

3months should be no prob at all.

I haven't lifted a weight since the end of April - it's the longest layoff I've had in thirteen years of training - your body does need a rest from it all sometimes - especially if you've been using the gear. There's no need to try and play a hero - you'll just burnout.
Right now, I'm just enjoying eating whatever I like and finding time to do other things in my life - and saving a vast quantity of money while doing so.
I haven't lost too much muscle size but I know I've lost a bit of strength. When I quit training at the end of April I weighed 240lbs - now I weigh 210 with the same (if not better) levels of bodyfat. I'm not bothered, because like another poster said, muscle memory's a wonderful thing and when you've been training as long as I have, you can put it back on easy. I know that if I went back to the gym tomorrow, it would only take me about two months to get back into the shape that I was. Enjoy the lay-off!
