Of course Flex looked phenomenal in both shows, but there's something about his '92 USA condition that edges out his '93 Arnold Classic condition.

He was better conditioned at the 93AC...I think he looked fuller at the 92USA just like the 93 ironman

He definetly looked fuller at the '93 Ironman. Incredible that within a week he was shredded for the Arnold Classic.

235 pounds at the Ironman it was said on his video, I beleive 218-220 pounds for the Arnold. I wish Arnold would releash the all of the Arnold Classics on DVD. that would be the shit, cause he would make a killing on them. And I wish NPC would re-release the 1992 USA's. Because, I think the production company (Video Muscle) is no longer in business. They used to sell the 92 USA's in the back of Flex magazines, I have and ad for that in one of my 96 Flex' Magazines.

Funny you mentioned a re-release of the 1992 USA Championship 'cause I was flippin' through some back issues of muscle magazines and seen that very same ad for the sale of the '92 USA. I have searched high 'n low for that video with no such luck. How I would love to own that video.

His best condition was in fact one week out from the 93 O, where according to Jim Quinn during the commentary of that event he states that he knows for a fact Flex's bf was measured at 0.0% at Golds one week out, the lowest ever recorded reading at Golds Venice apparently.

I tried looking up the company on the net, no go. Tried Ebay, no go, for both. Somebody like GMV which puts old videos on DVD should buy the rights to the NPC USA's (they have done that with others) and the Arnold Classics and produce them. I know videos are out there. They had the 98 and 99 Arnold on UPN, so footage exists. I think Arnold doesn't want them out, because it would hurt his political image.

I remember the ad, and I kick myself for not buying the video back in 96.

Don't take this the wrong way, but that sounds silly for you to say considering to this day Arnold is still promoting bodybuilding through his anuual Arnold Classic. If it was to 'hurt his political image', I would think he'd jump ship the moment he took office, yet every year he is still at Columbus, Ohio. And if anything was to hurt his image it wouldn't be UPN footage of his show, but those Japanese commercials.
