Sorry I see the same Staan on the cover.
Its just the angle of photo shoot make him look bigger than before.

I saw Stan in the audience at the Teen, Collegiate & Masters Nats in July. He didn't look huge to me.

I've seen lots of photos of Stan in mags and on getbig. Yet when I saw the magazine cover, I actually thought it was another Asian BB, because I perceived the person to be bigger. Only when I flipped to the table of contents and saw his name credited to the cover was I SURE it was him.

I've seen too many BB photo's in my life - for my mind to not process that photo accurately. He hasn't hit the stage for 2 years now, and he is determined to go up a weight class. Rest assured, he HAS TO be noticeably bigger this year. Time will tell.

Is this his first cover on either Muscle & Fitness or FLEX ? I believe so. Great achievement.

He is definetely bigger this year.

He has veins in his ribcage, stomach is incredible & chest looks awesome.

First off I would like to thank jonnytosh for the props and starting this thread. The actual cover shot was taken back in 2003, 3 weeks before the '03 Nationals. I was around 190lbs give or take a few pounds. Someone had mentioned that it was the lighting or the angle of the picture.......true that! Hey man, it is what it is.......im not claiming to be huge. Im just tryin to get my face out there and be seen. And for all the negative people on this thread who took a few low blows and pot shots at me......thank you too! As long as you keep talkin about me and keep checkin on me, im doin my job.

For the record, for the guy who wanted to know about my Irish background: My father is Irish!! Didn't have a choice!!

Yeah but you're still small. No offense, but if they give you a pro card [for some reason] WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU GONNA DO? You'll get killed in every and any pro show you do. Dave Henry is rare. Don't plan on following in his footsteps. IT WON'T HAPPEN. you look good for fitness shots, but i don't think bbing is right for you.

BBing is a personal quest. Look at it this way Flex lost the 93 O BUT I heard he got into pretty incredible shape. I bet that was enough to make him happy.

Interesting m and f ran photo from 3 yrs ago ,so you can't gauge if he was a middle or lightheavy in the pic.s,i think he has a very good build and in his usa win and runnerup nat's placing's he was peeled esp in rear bi shot,has good leg's ,hopefully he bring's his arm's up a bit but their conditioned.overall you can't rag on him other than being envious of his bbing endevor's.

Well-You looked HUGE to me in that shot. Especially the chest. Your abs are insane in that photo. I feel stupid because I ~~thought~~ was sure that photo was the newer-"Fuller" Stan. What BW do you expect to be hitting the stage at in Miami ? Going to LHW class means that you will be competeing against slightly taller athletes. So does going up a class allow you to "Fill Out" more, and be compared to taller guys, which would make you look "wider" than them .....As opposed to Middleweight class where you would be coming in on the smaller side to make the cut-off, thus being compared to slightly shorter- "wider" looking guys. That would make them APPEAR more developed than you. Is that the logic ?

How did it feel to go to the newsstand and see yourself on the cover of M & F ?
Must be pretty cool..
