He was a dictator who ordered mass executions, who ordered systematic physical torture of those who opposed him.

He was a dictator who would gas his own people.

A terrible dictator in a dictature.

And you are comparing him to a president in a democracy.

Bush has repeatedly been found guilty of incompetence, and perhaps of unintelligence, but he is no mass murderer. He is no dictator.

You don't even vote, which says it all about your understanding and appreciation of Democracy.

Because at the time of Pol Pot, We had a Democrate in the White House. We had just gotton out of a 20 year war with over 50,000 Americans dead. We wanted no more of the far east. Say what you will about Jimmy Carter and Clinton, but they weren't the world's police like Bush is making us now. Sure their were bad times, who could ever forget the Iranian crisis of the 70's and early 80's? What kind of world would it be now, if it even still existed if a right winger, like Bush II was running the country during the crisis. Even Clinton, say what you will, kept the country in the black with no deficit or wars. We we're bombed so He bombed right back, not started a civil war or possibly WW III. Sure things weren't rosy, but We weren't caught in a quagmire like we are now. Once we realize that their will always be war, drought, starving and War Lords, no mater how much force we use. Only then will the US once again, if ever be a respected country again.
