i think he did do it to advance it in a way..i think hes sick of the way the ifbb has been run and the way people get treat, and he knows that another federation will help bodybuilding, so hes gone over to try and make it work, hes taken a stand and is hoping others will follow him in time, thats the way i see it....he certainly hasnt done it to advance his own career so what other reason would he have to do it.

Actually...you dont get it. If Lee had never looked at the PDI...he picks up $20K or more at the O and $10K here or there at a small show or two. No PDI = No suspension

How much could he get at the O? What does it pay to the top 6 guys? Anyone know?I have never heard what the prize money is,only that many get nothing.

P.S. 20K is 20 k no matter where he gets it. If you saw an opportunity to earn an easy(relatively) 20 k would you?

he may think that public preasure on the ifbb will see him compete at the O

Except for Ronnie and Jay(when he was doing the ASC every year), nobody makes anywhere near enough from prize money at contests to amount to anything. Other than those two, the guys who are earning a living from this "sport" do so from sponsorships/endorsements. Look at Kamali... he could have earned far more money flipping burgers for minimum wage than what he's earned in prize money over the years.

Not necessarily... they just want them "in the public eye"... they want us talking about them. Shawn Ray hasn't stepped on a stage in years... Vyotech doesn't seem to care. Prior to his Master's ~~gift~~ win, Bob was all but retired. Kamali sucks as a competitive bodybuilder. Look at Palumbo! Look at Valentino. Shall I go on? This ain't like athletes in real sports... notoriety and controversy is the key, not "success" on a stage.

Whatever Lee's motivation was/is, he said, GO FU__ YOURSELF to the IFBB. Guaranteed many, many bodybuilders in the IFBB are talking and thinking about it today and their options.

Bodybuilders are MORONS....PLAIN AND FU_____ SIMPLE! They have guys that never dieted in their lives plan out diets for them, they have guys that couldn't stand on any bodybuilding stage, even at a state show) and do well help them with their training......Bodybuildi ng is the only "sport/game" where people do this. Lee got whatever brains they have in their head spinning and PERHAPS some thought process in gonna begin. Of course not all bodybuilders are morons, just the majority.

Lee priest showed and proved all the doubters WRONG. He stands on his OWN two feet and makes things happen.

I asked Twinalb back in Feb and they said they had no problem with me doing the PDI.I am still Lee Priest and stil have fans and a contest is a contest.

Do you regret it a little?
