We all know Lee will win. We're more interested in the attendance... any idea how many there?

PDI is not going to give the IFBB any competition however I do think it has legs. It's an alternative for a lot of great bodybuilders to compete in. The show was very well run and professional as you would expect from Wayne Demelia. The guy knows how to put on a show. The judging was interesting as the night show counted a lot. When they compared the top 6 they went straight into the posedown because they said they did quarter turns and compulsories at prejudging (which I did not attend).
Wayne said he is commited to the PDI so we will see more shows. He also gave a plug for the Mr. Olympia and talked about Ronnie and the possibility of him winning and making history. He says he has no grudges toward the IFBB and doesn't consider PDI competition for them. He just wants to promote bodybuilding and give the fans and athletes and alternative. Class act all the way. __________________

Sounds great.
You know, Wayne has said all along, that he wasn't looking to compete against the IFBB. So I don't see why so many within the IFBB Company men, have such a problem with PDI/Wayne.
It's just an alternative, at this point. Will it compete with teh IFBB someday? Well, that remains to be seen.........

That answers your own question. That's exactly why the IFBB company men have a problem with the PDI.

If they have a system where the prize money goes to a separate holding before the show then i believe that PDI will get calls from guys that are placing near 10 in major shows (arnold and O) and 5-10 at smaller IFBB shows.

Decent show. Nobody except Frey deserved to be on stage with Lee. Production was pretty good. Auditorium was sold out and noisy as hell. I will answer some questions for anyone that asks.
