Thanks for the feedback bro, and yes I often use rage and anger to fuel my training while listening to old classic rock tunes, like Aerosmith, Skynard, Floyd, etc. When you say lighter days do you mean lower weight higher reps? It's literally impossible for me not to train til failure, because I feel like a HUGE PUSSY if I don't at least go til failure. So on the lighter days it would be less weight higher reps til failiure, yes? I just can not not train til failure it just doesn't exist in my mind. So I could alternate heavy 4-6 reps til failure one day and then light 15-20 reps til failure on another day, correct?
Correct, and you can also do intensoty techniques like drop-sets for an example.....do 10 all out reps on bb curls, then grab a weight thats like 15-20 pounds lighter with no rest and go to failure again....then take a brief rest and repeat for the desired number of sets of your choosing.
Another thing is to use a weight for 8-10 reps, rest exactly 60 seconds an go again shooting for 8-10 again but if you fail it`s cool becaue you just you went all out.
Resting less can make a lighter weight feel real heavy really fast.....the muscles dont know what the weight on the bar says, all they know is effort and how much effort you expend.
More to come.....just woke up from a nap after a big meal.
Whatever you do,train fucking hard,
