But the picture looks doctored. The pixel degredation just doesn't look right. When zoomed in, there are clearly strips, which could indicate a few highlights and drags. These strips do not appear anywhere else on the photograph, and I can't get past them. Can any of our photoshop experts weigh in on this?
Move your head from side to side when looking at this- the strips become clear to the eye.
Also, some pics from different angles might settle it once and for all, anyway.

When I look at that first pic here on getbig I see these 3 or 4 pimple sized bumps on the outline of your bi. When I saved it to zoom in on that it didn't show up at all. I only see it on the getbig pic. Its like I'm in the twighlight zone. :-\

I know what you mean. That is because the picture gets distorted on the gebig window a little bit because it doesn't fit.

i included a front bicep shot so you can see im not pushing my arm against the body, then a side shot, with arm not against the body. my arms look bigger than TA's and their only 19", 19.5" pumped. and TA clearly has his arm pressed against the body...

Yea I shrunk the pictures using paintbrush.
and yes I am top heavy, I squat light because I'm worried I'll retear the ligaments in my knee (leg press I use decent weight but I can't say I have good leg genetics). My calves are small, they just don't gain in size, getting stronger though.
I don't care though cuz I'm not gonna compete! :P

My diet for cutting this year is going to probably look something like this:
300-350 grams of protein a day
carbs starting at 400 grams lowering 20-50 grams every 2 weeks or so.
every 10 days-400 grams of carbs
Probably no cardio. Maybe throw it in there last couple of weeks or so.
Fat will come from all lean sources and some nuts.
I have done carb cycling and think it is shitty for me. I think this approach will have me eating the max possible so I can retain all of my muscle.

You would expect to see some blocking from jpeg compression at that res. Unfortunately its inconclusive. I have not studied the codec but using repeating blocks sounds like a great way to compress an image so it probably is the way it works. Certainly when you see things like smoke/rain/snow on mpeg compression you will see blocking.

yep 40 pounds of muscle is true. lean body weight went from 106 to 157 so that's about 50 LBW pounds. anyone who posts that picture of mine again should also post the before picture; i looked like i had terminal cancer before i started training. i told adonis to do a better pose or whatever because if his arms are getting close to 20 he should show them better. as for me i stood like that because it's the same way i was standing in the before picture. I'm losing fat now. I'm down one pound or two and about a half inch in waist. I'll post picture again when i get to 7-8% bodyfat. that sarcasm hoax pic thread was taken over by the discussion of me. this one is about adonis. it's pointless to argue about me again or my claims here. anyway that thread was merged with the squad thread. For those who didn't see here's my before and after pics. i never said i look good or better than anyone it's just my progress pics, i think everyone should measure their progress to see how they're doing even if they're still far from their goal.

well TA, I don't want to call BS on your claim of 20-inch arms. They are big.
But the picture looks doctored. The pixel degredation just doesn't look right. When zoomed in, there are clearly strips, which could indicate a few highlights and drags. These strips do not appear anywhere else on the photograph, and I can't get past them. Can any of our photoshop experts weigh in on this?
Move your head from side to side when looking at this- the strips become clear to the eye.
Also, some pics from different angles might settle it once and for all, anyway.

i included a front bicep shot so you can see im not pushing my arm against the body, then a side shot, with arm not against the body. my arms look bigger than TA's and their only 19", 19.5" pumped. and TA clearly has his arm pressed against the body...

its kinda easy, 45lb is basically 20kg, 20.4kg to bne exact. so 3 plates a side is 140kg

im not a hater but someone was arguing with me that lee haney had 21 inchers contest shape. andonis arms arent anywhere near that and if u have to argue the fact whats the point. and come on losing two inches dieting down maye true if the person has 40 pounds to lose but not if they stay reasonably lean 15-20 pounds from comp wieght.

My diet for cutting this year is going to probably look something like this:
300-350 grams of protein a day
carbs starting at 400 grams lowering 20-50 grams every 2 weeks or so.
every 10 days-400 grams of carbs
Probably no cardio. Maybe throw it in there last couple of weeks or so.
Fat will come from all lean sources and some nuts.
I have done carb cycling and think it is shitty for me. I think this approach will have me eating the max possible so I can retain all of my muscle.
