Science cant answer everything yet, im not religious, but Ive had enough strange experiences and coincedences in my life that I believe there is a lot more to existence that I can begin to comprehend.
I think its a tremendously pretentious and arrogant statement science makes when it claims to be able to have a definitive answer, when the simple fact is, Science is proven wrong all the time, and Science still doesnt have all the answers.
That's where people have it wrong. Science is not a "be all, end all" type thing.
Science basically TRIES to explain how and why things happen. It is constantly evolving and ever changing. Meaning that if for example 20 years ago somebody made a theory why birds migrate south for the winter or why plants grow toward the sun ...and then 20 years later somebody disproves that theory, the latter more appropriate theory is the accepted one.
There are many examples of theories being changed or flat out proven. Do some googling.
The thing about religion thumpers is that for ANYTHING that they can not understand or anything that science has not gotten around to explaining they automatically say "it's god's doing or god's will".
You can not just say god is responsible for shit that you can't comprehend or just because it's a coincidence.
