Feeling fuller with this workout. Thick upper back & Chest. really hitting the iron.

I train whoever I feel like training on that day. If I go in to do chest and I’m in a couple sets and it doesn’t feel right I will train something else. I just go by feel so some weeks things get hit 3-4 times and other weeks maybe 0-1 time. I have fun with it and only do what I want to do at any given time.

I'm trying a 4-day (dropping another day) to see how it goes.
I was doing 6-days, then 5-days, will now drop back to 4...
Been feeling run-down, so maybe this will help. (Old guy stuff).
Chest day is really a Bench/Tricep day, I dont spend too much time training "Pecs".
Exercises listed are just the basic's, I swap out exercises here and there.

Well yesterday was Chest and a little tricep work
Today I am going to go sit on the Beach
I will probably do back and biceps Wens as going to concert wens night and don't want to stand on legs I just trained
Then legs Thursday and maybe some shoulder work on Friday
Nothing is set in stone anymore

With all that pressing, you hammer the fuck outta your triceps!
Dropping down to four days/wk. is probably a good idea, especially since, if memory serves, you're not just an old fart -- no! You're a *strong* old fart :)
That makes all the difference :)

However I have not been able to maintain this schedule and might go days or weeks between workouts. I need to get back into this routine.
Another split I did used to be similar to yours:
Chest + Biceps
Legs
off
Shoulders
Lats + Triceps
Off
Repeat
For both splits I would work in Calves whenever I felt like doing them. Sometimes every day, other times a few days off between. During the winter when covered up I might skip calves training for a few weeks or months.

Thanks, i cycle outdoors myself. i admit i feel it on my legs after a leg day but your legs can take high reps in my opinion.

If i train serious than this:
Legs
triceps+Chest (No Bench pressing, if i do than first chest than trizeps)
back+Biceps

Abs+Chest

REPEAT
Stretching 4 times a day.
Normally no shoulder training, maybe from time to time on a off day and mostly back shoulder.
Chest day is often times 2- 2,5 ours long. (sometimes longer)
back+Biceps is 1-2,5 ours
Legs 50min.-130min.
If overtrained, it usually happens after 4-6 month, i rest for a week or two than start with lighter training again.
Sometimes i eat a light meal between sets (after ca. 2 ours, only carbs, usually on chest day)

Using your whole bodyweight as in walking..etc i suppose is logically better but i like to sprint on the bike & outddors i believe the training effects are much better. I like to look at the pussy too in the summer months.
