first you care about every little lump.
as years pass by, after realizing there is no way out, you stop and start enjoying life again.

I'm 55 and most people who meet me think I'm 38-42. I get this all of the time, so l know I'm not delusional. But my Dad is 80, still goes to the gym and most people think he's in his 60's, so genetics...

I got my second wind when I was 35-40.  I probably looked the best I ever did.  All natty too.  I didn't begin to notice any physical or hormonal changes until I was about 46.

If you eat right, workout hard and get proper rest you can put off the effects of old age by at least 20-30 years.  Most people do not believe I am 51 years old.  I suppose I'll eventually get on TRT, but I'm going to wait as long as possible, until it's absolutely necessary.

I'm nearly 40, most ppl can't believe it. No alcohol except on good occasion, no smoking, drug etc.
Most of my coworker and drinking and smoking on a daily basis, they are 30 and are washed up.

At 55 I’m training just as hard if not harder than I was when I was in my 20’s just not nearly as heavy and my recovery isn’t that far off. I’ve been on and off gear since I was in my late teens just came off last week until April. Blood work has always been good with the exception of hereditary elevated cholesterol but never had to take meds for it. Granted, I was blessed with good family genetics, no cancers, no heart disease and longevity on the moms side.

But I feel like shit when I come off.

How do you look when you come off for a couple of months?  I know most aside from physically losing it feel depressed, nervous and somewhat feeble feeling. Hormones are powerful agents and many don't realize they not only influence the body but the mind.

My psychiatrist told me just yesterday that I didn`t look like I was 62.

I told her that alcohol was a preservative!!   :D

I might lose about 10-12lbs and get a little softer. I'll be a little less motivated to do certain things but I adjust fairly quickly. I've never been an advocate of high doses believing in smaller doses for longer periods of time as opposed to using large doses for a short time. By doing that I've always retained more muscle without losing much when coming off instead of just flat out "deflating" like most do.

Well I‘m 46, so I do not only feel old. ;D

Actually, I feel pretty good. Best shape of my life, all life goals achieved, no stress. Felt a lot older and stressed out 10 years ago.
