well you know, in order to not slowly creep out of shape, one has to kinda watch what they eat, maybe not at all times, but kinda often.

Exactly. I do this by setting a MAX weight limit for myself and if I get close I then monitor calories. And when I get tired of monitoring calories, I don`t.
I could actually just eyeball everything and not count anything really and arrive at the same place as I have done this for so long now.
I just choose to count as it takes no effort really and it is fail safe and fool proof.
I think I am going to get myself a bowl of potato chips in a second-1000 calories still left to eat today.
