He was collecting for charity or a hospice. Doin a 650lb yoke. walked 1km. 100m one way. rest 100 back rest etc. Seen him went over. stood and chatted with him for 15 mins. Very humble gentleman. Gave me his email address took mine and invited me to strongman training with him in Bangor first two weeks in Jan.

Even though i am small her musta know i trained. Told him my achievements. Asked my name etc and what i could do. Awesome awesome man

The yoke was a test of how much he was recovered after his smashed patella

Belfast city centre. (ireland) Today lunchtime. was outta work heading to gym and spotted him gentleman. He live a few miles away from Belfast.

My gym in on the top floor of the old building beside starbucks

Watched the UK strongman programme on channel five earlier tonight - he won it easily.

I'm not sure if he competed in the WSM this year but I think that contest qualified him for it.

Said he is doin next year's britain Strongman and that will give him an idea. His hands were so enormous. i mean so thick it was unreal. I was thinking of trying to be cocky and gripping so tight. He wudda broken my hand like lol

I used to go to a nightclub he did the door at years ago. He was huge then. Amazingly strong guy in the static events, doesn't he hold records (or at least he used to) in log lift?
