Racism is wrong and sad, and hopefully will decrease in time.

It all starts at an individual level though. As a black person, when I get slurred racially I never respond in kind as that just perpetuates the cycle. Two wrongs do not make a right. If one white person can call me a racist name, and I respond with respect and show that I am a perfectly good person, that IMO helps a tiny bit. They may leave thinking, well she was ok. The next black person does the same thing, eventually that racist white may be like ...these poeple are okay. Same things applies to all races/racism. It all starts small.

Like in my native country, there are like no whites, literally. First time I took a white friend there, the kids were amazed. They wanted to touch her hair, feel her skin etc. She was nice to them all, and now those kids don't think whites are 'weird' or anything, all they know was they met one and she was nice.

It all starts small, in every aspect of life. Responding with rudeness never helps.
