The first "Raising the Bar" was a great DVD that everyone should check out who hasn't already:

It is something that isn't really done in bodybuilding DVDs ever.  All the others are straight training DVDs but this one was unique.

i used to start visualizing every set and rep the night before the workout. by the time i actually walked into the gym, i had done the workout a hundred times in my mind. jeez. who has the energy for all that visualization now?!?!? now, i walk into the gym and make the workout up as i go along! lol!!

You are right....who has the time these dayz?  As for me, the plan is to just be happy, healthy & have fun.  Life is way too short.

I know Dave is hungry for the North Americans. This year he's going to win it. He looked insanely hard last year, and came very close to winning the overall.

I can remember the great 2002 Masters Olympia in Lynchburg, when Don Youngblood's fans all had "Back for Blood" T-shirts on.  Have you thought about something like that for the North Americans?

Absolutely... I'll be at the North Americans in Cleveland as usual. Only 3 more months to go. All this time you've been competing, and improving. The judges know you've paid your dues and looked in top shape last year . You're due pro status in Cleveland Dave. Judging from how good you were last year and how it was so close between you & Gus M.  , you will have earned it. You're a hard worker... lots of time & work into building one of the best physiques in bodybuilding. Another thing is , most of the guys who you competed against way back in the 80's & 90's have finished their careers. Meanwhile, you've constantly improved & still have it . Props & respect to you.
