He tells you he wants to look like you and asks you for training.. you meet up with him.. he seems real cool and all and agrees to pay you x amount of money for personal training.. he takes a picture of you for his "photo journal" and then he calls you back to ask if he can take muscle shots of you and him..................... ....

Should somebody be worried if they are straight?

Make it very clear up front what personal training does, and does not, entail.

And if it doesn't violate your moral clauses or hurt your rear end, charge him an outrageous amount. Even if he is a closet case, make your rent!

I have never done personal training but I am very knowledgeble and understand what works to hypotrophy a muscle. When he called me about "muscleshot".. it took me offguard. Here I was telling my family how cool this guy was... and then the call comes in.

I kept on repeating. What do you mean muscle shots?

Then I let him know that I would be willing to take progress pics of him and emphasis beying on him! We'll see how long my personal training career lasts.. lol

Tell him to buy the Arnold encycolpedia. it could just be that he honestly wants to learn the muscle groups and you are the closet thing he has to an anatomy chart. If so, the Encyclopedia will solve that.

it could be that to look like YOU is his ultimate goal. In which case, he'd want pics of you so he can strive for it and maybe one day match it. Seeing his pics come closer is inspiration, okay. Weird, sure.

Next possibility - he is a little bi, and you float his boat. The pics will make his month, and maybe lead to lunch or something, he hopes.

Finally... Maybe he just wants to jump your bones.

A: Go to Circuit City, Best Buy, Crutchfield or some other legitimate retailer or

B: Buy them from a guy you have never seen before (and will never see again) who sells them out of a van that he drives around town.

Connect the dots . . . if this guy really wants to work out and get in shape there are books, gyms, & personal trainers all over that he can turn to. Does he turn to them? No. He turns to you, some guy he met on the street whose physique he “admires.” Don’t play dumb. You are not a personal trainer. Refer him to one and move on.
