My friend would swear by a diet made of solid tuna and oats. He used to swallow the tuna whole and drink the oats in water.

One shot of creatine before a workout.

I actually feel bad for Trey. He has so much hype around him that i don't think he can possibly live up to it. Is he even going to compete again? I predict he will get a muscle tear early on in his career and end up like a Federov.

Yep. That was not a separate ad, but part of the article itself.

Epic journalistic integrity on the part of Ron Harris and MD.

Don't the realize that one lie in an article makes you doubt all the rest of it...

I don't see what is unbelievable about Trey Brewer(if that is who it was referring to) taking those supplements.  It isn't like it is a ton of pills.  If he is a sponsored athlete he gets the shit for free anyway.

What is the issue with that?

As far as its efficacy, you could throw it all out.

I say take the money you would have spent on that crap and send it to me instead.  Your results will not be any better or worse than if you had bought and taken all that.

Where does all this fit into Trey's diet as given on his website?

Quote
Trey Brewer's Typical Off Season
Feeding Schedule

My Motto:
You canšt over train! You can only under eat

MEAL 1)  20-25 egg whites 2 yolks.
4 cups of organic oatmeal with cinnamon
Handful of almonds

MEAL 2) Protein shakes (60 grams)
Waxx Maze Carbo Hydrate Powder

MEAL 3) 16oz of skinless boneless chicken breast(salt free seasoning)
16oz of sweet potato with cinnamon
1 full bag of lettuce and veggies

MEAL 4) 1 large t-bone steak with 12oz potato and mixed veggies

MEAL 5) Protein shakes (60 grams)
Waxx Maze Carbo Hydrate Powder

MEAL 6) 16oz ground turkey breast
4 cups of brown rice(before cooking)

MEAL 7) Protein shake (60 grams)
 Waxx Maze Carbo Hydrate Powder

I usually throw in a couple of protein bars throughout the day. I also take a pre and post workout shake. Twice a week I treat myself to ice cream and pizza.

That's what the powder-pushers want you to believe, anyway.   ;)

If you're natural, spend your money on food, not worthless crap.

HAHAHAHAAAA... I'd really love to know what Trey REALLY eats, and what supplements he REALLY takes, and how much... That's the kind of things mags are there for, not to give us advertisements and advertisements-masquerading-as-articles and training articles that are really advertisements...

he doesn't do anything any different than any other bodybuilder, 5 meals a day with maybe 50-60 grams of protein and 50-60 grams of carbs and a post workout shake, that's it.
