Mainly for recovery and muscle gain, I would like to use it instead of running steroids cycle anymore, cause I don't like the acne that comes with them, right now I am coming off a cycle, but would like to try 1 month on 1 month off insulin cycles instead of the steroid cycles. I don't know I'll prolly take the plung again into aas but right now I don't want to do it.

OK, if you are taking it for
recovery WHY THE HELL ARE YOU ONLY TAKING
ONLY 10GRAMS OF PROTEIN WITH IT

?? (sorry for the emphasis, but I really think its necessary if you are trying to play armchair endocrinolgist)
Think about it....Insulin's primary function is blood glucose metabolism. One of its "secondary" anabolic properties is to increase of DNA replication and protein synthesis via control of amino acid uptake. Insulin will increase amino acid uptake within muscles so why not provide an abundance of amino acids? This means taking a protein source at a time that allows maximum uptake---which considering digestability of some protein sources may even need to be before you take the injection, but thats another discussion.
The bottom line is its not going to do shit anabolicly if you aren't providing the fuel the body needs. These internet recommendations of taking an ultrashort acting insulin like Humalog and then taking simple carbs without a protein source or a relatively small amount of protein really don't make that much sense if you think of it. All you are doing is yo-yoing your body as your blood glucose goes up and down----if the body doesn't just negate the exogenous insulin effects by decreasing endogenous insulin and secreting catabolic hormones if blood glucose levels drop below threshold.
Now all of that said, you do need to remember that as your blood glucose drops, your body is going try to maintain homeostasis by secreting catabolic hormones such as cortisol and catacholamines because the ultimate goal is maintaining stable blood glucose levels to give the brain the fuel it needs.
Insulin also isn't going to distinguish between fat cells and muscle cells . Like I asked before, did you think to measure your bodyfat levels before you started down this pathway? I think it'd be really interesting to see what happens with your bodyfat considering the effects of insulin.
