not talking about advice especially but you in general come into the thread and preach your gospel and since you already know everythign you dont listen to others even though they have much more real life experience than you. thats where the closed mind comes in. you think you know everything already.
and of course i can stand other people giving advice? why wouldnt i? unless someone is giving out advice that i think is downright wrong (and possibly dangerous) im cool with it for the most part.

no idea what youre on about here. and i doubt you could explain it either so i guess its the drugs talking. or your little internet-persona when you try to sound intelligent and philosophical.  ::)

or both.

epic avoidance of detail. i dont know everything, but i sure as hell know more than you do. the thing is that bodybuilding is plagued by pseudo experts such as yourself. and when the fundamentals of muscle growth are exposed you are exposed as well.

as for the second part, im not suprised you have no idea. but slaveboy knows.

if you grow more from 12 sets then 12 sets is better. and if youre unsure - more is better, at least then you can rule out youre not doing too little.

if you can recover from training 6 days a week 6 days a week is better.

all you ever do is keeping it simple stupid. or should i say because you ARE stupid you KEEP IT SIMPLE, you dont have any other choice.

and since you have a closed mind, youre not open to other ideas and others experience, which means you are unwilling to learn.

if you dont grow more from 12 sets compared to 6 sets. then 6 is better.

if you cant recover from 6 days a week then training less than 6 days a week is better.

more isnt better, less isnt better. progress is best.

picking an isolated advice given to someone and trying to make it into a general truth.

and yes it often a good advice.

hey lets hide our ignorance behind esoteric superset routines instead of focusing on the things that matter. in other words your stupid because you hid behind the 'everyone is different' dogma.

tit for tat bluto. tit for tat.

more isnt better, less isnt better. progress is best.

but since a lot is leading to that for HYPERTROPHY you need a lot of sets, more sets SEEMS to be better.  more sets is better, at least it's not too few.

and if you dont go to failure, you can recover from 6 days a week. which means it's better.

more doesnt rule out progress. in fact more might be necessary for progress or at least speed up progress.

as good as keeping it simple might be, it's also keeping it boring. and keeping a mind close. which is the last thing you wanna do on a bodybuilding board where you want to discuss.
to go to such place with the idea that only one way works, and you are the preacher of that way is a mistake.

it shows that you're more interested in preaching than discussing and learning.

na you need to do 'enough' sets. as your progress you may need to increase volume and/or weights etc..that is true.

and if you dont go to failure your not guaranteed to recover to workout 6 days a week. depends on many other factors. besides working out 6 days a week is not a magic number.

training should be results orientated not i like to do this and that orientated (within limits)

na its shows that im interested in what works.

also you dont realize that keeping things simple doesnt exclude me researching more advanced stuff. it just shows that advice have to be adapted to the person who is asking for advice and you have to look at what he is doing at this moment.

when you build a house you start with the foundation.

when the house is built you can focus on small details.

but since we dont know exactly what is enough we're better off doing more than less.
and 6 days isnt a magic number, i posted that as a response to your 3 times a week. but if you can get away with training more often why not train more often.

i rather hit my legs 100 times a year than 50 times a year.
