« on: July 08, 2008, 10:36:05 AM »
Hey guys i just finished my last week of a cycle of G.V.T. and was wanting to try
Max-OT, Does anyone see a problem with doing that??

I have just been use to training a traditional way with no certain style, I'm trying to find whats right for me.

Any input appreciated

Smart. The only way to determine the best method for you is to try different ones.

As for moving right into Max OT from GVT…
Just make sure your mindset is changed and prepared for the new and very different protocol. It may even take a couple of workouts, but you’ll get it quickly.

Yeah i see what ya mean, When i saw the type of training sessions involved the first thing that was weird was the low amount of sets per exercise, but i really liked the amount of time that you can get everything done in even with the long amount of rest in between sets.

I just have one more quistion.

I am a pro wrestler but i only wrestle on saturdays right now, So.... with this typs of training should i place leg day at the start of the week? ( Since its so tormenting on them )

Funnily enough, I also trained with an indy promotion some years back.

During that time I drastically cut down on my direct leg work simply because the trainers had us doing ass-loads of Hindu Squats almost every session several times per week. Due to frequency and the way it was spaced out, there never seemed to be a “good” time to train legs.

Consider things like frequency of ring training, your own recovery time, etc.
I would really play this one by ear.
