Agree to disagree. Let the season play itself out and hopefully we will have a USC/SEC BCS National Championship if everything plays out right. You guys still have to get through an Ohio State team that looks alot tougher than previous years. I hope you guys do win just so the two conferences can settle it on the field. I'm picking Florida/USC right now for the title. USC should have it locked up on there part and Florida has the most talent in the SEC IMHO. I'm sure we will argue alot over the next 4 months ;)
yeah i'd love to see either a Florida/USC, an Oklahoma/USC or an Oklahoma/Florida BCS title game.

Are you sure you don't want to see someone new for once? It's always one of the same 10 teams in the BCS every year...

EXACTLY, now i have no problem with one of those teams being in a big BCS bowl if they win facing the SAME CALIBER of competition that an SEC, Pac-10, Big 12 or Big 10 school faces weekly but when you're beating East New Mexico Technical Farming Institute 12 times a year don't cry about not getting a big bowl.

Hey, I went there....   >:(

Playoffs. The "Big Boys" don't want to play a mid-major team that is good. If they can't blow out their non-confrence opponets they don't wanna schedule those games.....

overall kind of a mediocre week in CF this week, OU/Cincinnatti should be good and Florida/Miami is on ESPN tonight as well, West Virginia/East Carolina should be good, Penn State/Oregon State might be good too.

Does anyone remember the thread earlier this year that said Tim Tebow could bench 455? I know Quaker has to remember it. ESPN College Gameday just had a little segment on Tebow in the weight room lifting.  They never showed him benching just doing some Hammer strength stuff and drills on the field. But after seeing what I saw, I can say with confidence there is no way in hell that dude benches 455, much less 455 as a Senior in highschool. Maybe it will be on youtube later.

dude you read my mind, i was gonna start a thread on it, that dude used to meltdown when i said Tebow couldn't bench 455 and it showed him doing two arm Hammer Strength rows with 4 plates on each side, struggling with 2 plates on each side of the Hammer Strength Incline Press and high pulls with 155, also some leg presses with 6 plates per side.

hahaha, the funny thing is that i was saying tebow is a strong guy but not 455 bench strong, Tebow is definitely my favorite college football player right now and the Gators are my favorite team.

La Tech beat Miss. State and Fresno beat Rutgers on the road last week.  Looks like Fresno is going to rebound this year.

Miami looks alot better than I thought they would. Miami, FSU and Florida always play each other tough as hell though, state pride I guess

yep it was a close game there for awhile then Tebow busted loose in the 4th quarter, that offensive line needs to protect him better.

Give Miami another year or two and its going to be like it was in the early nintie's with that program. You could see A LOT of potential on both sides of the ball. Tebow didn't look as comfortable last night as he did last year, and Florida didn't impress me as much as I thought they would. I may have to change my BCS NC pick, we'll see......

yep, Miami has a ton of speed on defense and they're very young, they'll be a very good team in 09 and after.

What i cant understan for the life of me is, with all the speed on miami's team you would think the offense would be better.

they're young, wait till next year and the year after when Marve gets some experience under his belt, he was Mr. Football in Florida in high school and broke some of Tebow's records, they will dominate the ACC in a couple of years.

They have a great D every year, but there Offense is always suspect. If a team can score on them and keep scoring, their offense can't keep up sometimes.
On another note, whats everyones take on Ohio State and USC this weekend? After watching both play, I think USC should beat the snot out of them , especially with how OU looked AT HOME against Ohio. But if Beenie Wells is back running, you never know.
