Seriously it's frustrating, all the woman in my gym are wasting their time, they never make any fucking progress in the strength department and maybe lose an inch off their waist every 5 months lol. One guy brought his girlfriend into the gym once and had her doing the same exercises as him, squats/leg press etc. and she didn't stop whining saying "i can't do this my muscles will get too big" LoL! even if a woman trains her ass off for 5 years she is still not gonna get to an unpleasant level of muscle mass unless she takes drugs. Fucking dumb bitches, seriously if i'm ever with somone and she wants to come to the gym with me she will be doing exactly the same workout as me same intensity/exercises etc. but with less weight or i will tell her to fuck off and go on her own at a diffrent time.

Only females in my gym are a few Athletes(national level sprinters,long jump etc) so they have a fair idea what their doing

Yep a few, in my last gym we had a World champion women bb,er ,
She probably weighs about 110, so she still looks like a woman also =)

Actually, about 10-20% percent of the younger women in my gym train quite adequately. However, there are very few really hardcore women.

At the chains i've been in most women don't push themselves on weights, but neither do the guys. Especially with weights they're essentially going thru the motions, using comically tiny resistance and zero intensity. With cardio some are more serious, because they think that matters more i'd guess. Even with cardio it's only a smaller percentage who are serious.

At the local Gold's i do see more women and men who are more serious about weights, cardio and core training, and it shows. As a result the overall energy is considerably higher, and they're in much better shape.

But your on steroids.  In regards to the question that was posed....most people use the gym as a physiological crutch.  Just going there makes them feel that they are doing something for their body.  I see a lot of women who are serious about cardio and thats cool.  If cardio is your thing then go with it.  As for the weights, they are just uneducated on the subject.  Since they produce so little testosterone, extreme muscle mass will not be achieved without steroids.  They don't get that.

I think these people have no clue about diet and assume they can eat what they want because they go to the gym.  But as far as in the gym, they are totally clueless about what they're doing. I love when they do a set and stop as soon as it gets difficult.  How bout the overweight women in the mirror doing curls with 2 1/2 pound dumbells. Or the skinny high-school kid working his calfs.

In my university gym, the few girls (college girls) that actually mess with weights have great form. I mean they use 10-20 lb dumbbells on stuff like shoulder presses but they're form is really good. But most of them stay on the abductor machines and leg extensions hoping to get a great butt so they look hot in their spandex. However there is one woman at my gym thats actually more muscular than the guys. She looks like a woman competitor, breast implants and all. It's funny to watch her show the guys up on the squats and leg presses (yea i'm smart enough to have figured out not to squat while she's training legs  ;D)

There are only a couple. But the girls that do know what they are doing and do shit like deadlifts always have great bodies.
