Where....in what battles have they proved this...on a TV show. How did they do in Chechnya? They're training looks tough because they don't have training dollars to do more. Maybe u should read some books on these guys and their severe lack of success. Look at Beslan or the movie theater in Moscow. Running half naked in snow doesn't make u a better door kicker...it means u can run half naked in snow.
You want to look at lack of success? you should read up on the SEAL's and DELTA , considering most of their missions were failures....want me to list them ?...
Operation Country Year
Operation Eagle Claw Iran 1980
Operation Urgent Fury Grenada 1983
Operation Acid Gambit Panama 1989
Operation Just Cause Panama 1989
Operation Desert Shield Iraq 1990
Operation Desert Storm Iraq 1991
Operation Restore Hope Somalia 1993
Operation Gothic Serpent Somalia 1993
Most of these are considered FAILURES, esp. Iran and Somalia.
now go snuggle in the corner with your blanky to wipe the tears.
you got seal team six so far up your ass it's not even funny....and yea, let me guess you're best buds with half the operators in DEVGRU and bla bla bla...
Oh and speaking of massive budgets, this was the reason Delta's first major mission in 1980 was a COMPLETE FAILURE.
here's the summary for you:
"The unit took part in Operation Eagle Claw,
the failed attempt to rescue American hostages from the US Embassy in Tehran in 1980. The mission failed due to an overly complex plan, inadequate Special Operations Aviation training for the accompanying aircrews, a collision between a rescue helicopter and a refueling tanker aircraft, and mechanical problems that reduced the number of available helicopters from the initial eight to only five (one fewer than minimum required) before the mission contingent left the refueling site to stage for the attack."
