out of all the ones i worked with i would say DELTA, but the marines always have a lot more fun in a war zone.

You're fucking retarded, the Spetznaz have proven to be no.1 over and over and over again... you should watch Spike's Deadliest Warrior: Spteznaz vs. Green Beret, it might open your eyes to the truth.
there is no one more badass, with insane training then Spetz.

Where....in what battles have they proved this...on a TV show. How did they do in Chechnya? They're training looks tough because they don't have training dollars to do more. Maybe u should read some books on these guys and their severe lack of success. Look at Beslan or the movie theater in Moscow. Running half naked in snow doesn't make u a better door kicker...it means u can run half naked in snow.

Whats the mission of the US Green Beret...its not the Spetz mission. Spetz are mostly direct action and who's their US counterpart....CAG (Delta). They don't have the baseline mission to train indig forces as our Army Special Forces do. Our SOF forces...well beyond GB's are so well trained, have massive budgets that nobody else comes close. I include our NATO allies in this. The SAS are perhaps the best large formation SOF forces in the world. We've got smaller specialized units that aren't mentioned, that are pretty scary.

You want to look at lack of success? you should read up on the SEAL's and DELTA , considering most of their missions were failures....want me to list them ?...

Operation    Country    Year
Operation Eagle Claw     Iran    1980
Operation Urgent Fury     Grenada    1983
Operation Acid Gambit     Panama    1989
Operation Just Cause     Panama    1989
Operation Desert Shield     Iraq    1990
Operation Desert Storm     Iraq    1991
Operation Restore Hope     Somalia    1993
Operation Gothic Serpent     Somalia    1993

Most of these are considered FAILURES, esp. Iran and Somalia.

now go snuggle in the corner with your blanky to wipe the tears.

you got seal team six so far up your ass it's not even funny....and yea, let me guess you're best buds with half the operators in DEVGRU and bla bla bla...

Oh and speaking of massive budgets, this was the reason Delta's first major mission in 1980 was a COMPLETE FAILURE.

here's the summary for you:

"The unit took part in Operation Eagle Claw, the failed attempt to rescue American hostages from the US Embassy in Tehran in 1980. The mission failed due to an overly complex plan, inadequate Special Operations Aviation training for the accompanying aircrews, a collision between a rescue helicopter and a refueling tanker aircraft, and mechanical problems that reduced the number of available helicopters from the initial eight to only five (one fewer than minimum required) before the mission contingent left the refueling site to stage for the attack."

my absolute favorite SF crew to ever work with was the Australians. those mother fuckers were hardcore. i forget the name of their SF unit but i worked with them in A-STAN for 2 days, i could only wish to have the level of training they had. i am not just talking about tactical, but survival in general. my unit and them were on about the same tactical level, but some our guys would have never lived without their survival skills.

They probably grew up in the Australian Outback.  One of the most unforgiven places in the world.  Australia is such a cool country.  Still such a wild place.

OK Captain E...ever worked or met any of those guys..ever.

Delta was how old in 1980 and who ran that mission? Wasn't Delta....
Yeah some SEALS screwed up in Panama..so what?
Grenada.....what. 3rd Ranger BN did pretty damm well with what they had to work with.
Which brings us to Somalia....I had Somali vets in my Company when I was a Company CDR. The Rangers and the Delta guys did a pretty damm good job. Shit happens..how many raids have u been on...I don't know any DEV GRU guys and neither do u. Ur basis for Spez was a fucking TV program. What because they run naked through the snow..that impresses u. Spez units in Chechnya got their asses handed to them....some units were left in the field and took buses home to Russia..thats how bad its become. They couldn't conduct a raid at Beslan, which got people killed and they couldn't take the theater in Moscow down either. Its funny, u posted SOF failures that are years old. Our SOF forces have been kicking ass in Iraq and Afghanistan. Its never a hundred percent but 5th group managed to destroy the Taliban..pretty good for one Special Forces Group. I'll ask the Russian FAO in my course what he thinks of Spez and get back to u....I'll also tell our 3rd Group guy that he sucks.

This could have been a interesting debate...but ur a child with marginal cut and paste skills and zero first hand knowledge of the subject.

In the 1994 War in Grozny not only did the Spetznaz get their asses handed to them entire units actually deserted over to the rebels.  Also the Russian army lost 240 out of 260 tanks.

Yeah ok there Rambo, I'm sure you know any spec ops guys or are one... lol  ::)  ::) another 290lb 2% bf MMA fighting , playboy playmate screwing internet millionaire living the dream.

And as far as Iran and Afghanistan go, you're talking about trained guys with the best and latest technology taking on a bunch of farmers and 3rd world rejects with 40 year old weapons, sigh... I'm surprised half of them didn't attack the U.S troops with pitchforks and molotov cocktails....oh wait, they did.

I'm not...did I post that I was. I am however in the Army and was in the Marines. I've deployed to both Iraq and Afghanistan and am headed to Iraq again soon. I have alot of friends in SOF..Green Berets. They aren't magical wizards. I'm in a 4 month course now with several. My old boss works for JSOC. Nor am I a 290 MMA fighter....I would venture to guess u've never served huh. Hey those farmers kicked the dog shit out of ur Spez guys didn't they. Maybe u should read what happend the Russian Army in Chechnya. Its funny, can't really have an informed debate because u have no idea what the hell ur talking about. I offered an opinion based on experience, u offered an insult backed by wiki and a TV show.

Hey! fuck you! I got up to 6 merit badges!

You're right headhunter I haven't served, nor would I, that's left to tools with no brains who enjoy getting their strings pulled by men in power and tossed to the wolves in the front lines :)   some like being cannon fodder others like being intelligent socialites and aristocrats.

But in response to your statement about knowing shit, you don't know much more then I do as you were NEVER in a delta squadron or seal team, so do yourself a favor and STFU, the marines are nothing special. And as for my love of Spetz. I trained with a bunch of them in sambo and systema :)
