60 grams of whey at one time is a waste of protein. no need for more than 20 grams of whey
Fuck dude, stop reading my mind!! We seriously think so similar it's shocking!!
In any event, I also just take 1 scoop of protein when using slin. Glucose is what you need after a workout. A little protein with aminogen or added BCAAs should be taken too - cheap enough that you shouldn't opt out.
Try 10g of carbs for every unit of slin. Become comfortable with that and once you get over 10iu, you'll find that you don't need quite as much carbs. I find that 7-8g of carbs per iu of slin is fine for most, although I've personally gone lower. Get very comfortable with your slin usage, then start taking about 15iu post workout.
As a tiny tit, I found that 10iu wasn't an efficacious dose. It may help, but for what you're doing it's not worth it. Use more slin or don't bother using it. I like 8-10iu post cardio in the morning and 15iu post workout. I take about 100-120g of carbs, about 80% high GI and some low GI. Contrary to popular belief, I don't think a little fat is harmful either. Ideally it should be avoided for consistency purposes, but a couple grams of fat is not going to kill you and add slabs of fat to your ass. Consuming slin and tons of carbs will, plain and simple. Just connect the dots and forget the bro science.
Try cycling slin on and off once you become familiar with it. I'd recommend a BSL monitor for a first timer, not so much for safety concerns but to know how much slin and carbs are really appropriate. It's important to play it safe, but it's also important to not become a fat mess. You don't want a ton of fat, especially visceral fat to add up before you realize that your slin regimen is doing more bad than good. Lots of good bros just become fat so make sure you're using an amount of carbs that's in alignment with your slin dose and work from there.
