That's awesome how strong all you guys are. I was just reading Wendler's 5/3/1 book where he talks about how his goal was to do a military press with 300lbs. A goal he accomplished in summer 2008. If you guys don't know who Wendler is, he is a powerlifter with the following lifts:700-pound deadlift, 675-pound bench press, 1000-pound squat. He should have just come on here and learned from all of you guys how easy a 300 (or 400, or 500, or 600) lb. military press really is.
The truth is, in most gyms it will be damn rare to find a guy that can do a military press with 225 lbs. Hell, its damn rare to find someone that does them at all. SS and I trained at a hardcore gym with REAL powerlifters, many of whom had legitimate 500 lb benchs, several 600-700 lb squatters, and one guy that just deadlifted 815 lbs in competition, and I only ever saw 2 of them do over 225 on a strict military press. Most of you are just full of shit.
