I also notice that when there is a black patient he/she will have their cell phone's charging in the hospital's outlets and so will the 3-6 family members cramed into the room. Every outlet. A cell phone charging.

That is too funny. Sad. But funny.  ;D

hahaha, ROFL....

I brought up in another thread that it's funny that none of these types have money to pay for health insurance.....but EVERY one of them has a cell phone and is constantly on it or texting.
It's true. In the hospital they charge their cell phones and use the hospital-house phones and make TONS of calls. I see them scroll through their cell phone's, come across a number and use our phone to make the call. It's one of the first thing they request besides food. The phone. "Ya'll got a phone up in hurr I cuul use? "

It's easy to listen in on conversations when you are sitting outside the room charting. It's always just day to day bullshit talk. NEVER anything serious or buisness like.

When they get their discharge papers they always ask the nurse or doctor... "Dasss it? I gotta go now? "  "Huh? "  "Could I make one mo' phone call befo I go? "  On the way out they may stop by the Clerk's desk and get ONE MORE call in. "Could I use dis phone?"

Then they have to use the "baffroom". Then finally they ask for a sandwich or a juice on the way out.

It's not just blacks.  It's people with a poor upbringing perpetuating a cycle of ignorance and hopelessness.

Exactly!

99,99% of these people "with a poor upbringing perpetuating a cycle of ignorance and hopelessness" just happen to be blacks or hispanics.

are you saying we should say most blacks and hispanics act the way they do cause they are still closer to animals in term of intelligence than white or asian people are? Are you impying they might be genetically underdevelopped intellectually compared to white or asian people ?

This should be on the front page of every newspaper in America-in large, bold letters. This was a letter to the editor August 29th in a Jackson, MS newspaper.

Dear sirs:

During my last night's shift in the ER, I had the pleasure of evaluating a patient with a shiny new gold tooth, multiple, elaborate tattoos, a very expensive brand of tennis shoes and a new cellular telephone equipped with her favorite R&B tune for a ringtone.

Glancing over the chart, one could not help noticing her payer status:

Medicaid.

She smoke more than one costly pack of cigarettes every day, and, somehow, still has money left over to buy beer.

And our Congress expects me to pay for this woman's health care.

Our nation's health care crisis is not a shortage of quality hospitals, doctors or nurses.

It is a crisis of culture.

A culture in which it is perfectly acceptable to spend money on vices while refusing to take care of one's self or, heaven forbid, purchase health insurance.

A culture that thinks, "I can do whatever I want to because someone else will always take care of me."

Life is really not that hard. Most os us reap what we sow. Don't you agree?

Dr. Starner Jones, MD
Jackson, MS

And what about the doctor? How is the doc's health? Doctors are notorious for telling others to be in shape, yet they are in terrible physical condition. One time I went to the doctor and he told me that I was obese at 5'5 and 168, yet I had a 6 pack, got up @5am every morning to run, he had more than a Goodyear spare tire, and he smoked.
Plus this doctor, working in the er didn't say what shift they work, and chances are doesn't get to eat a quality meal, just something on the run, which could mean junkfood.
Also, that doc works in Miss, a state that is the poorest in the US, and yes has a lot of black folk. Miss, never recovered from the Civil War. If that doc were to have worked in some parts of the Midwest and south, the doc would say the same thing about rednecks and poor whites, who'd rather spend money on a gun rack and camo and cigarettes and get drunk and beat up their girlfriends while living with her in a trailerpark and not paying rent
have alot of the same here in Maryland.
No lie, I had a woman come in and want file a retraining order against a 6 yr old, the 6 yr old hit her 6 yer old son. She was told she couldn't, she what about the parents they do drugs all the time in their trailer. She was told she couldn't file for that, but call child protective services. She was also told that little boys fight, and that's what her son needs to learn, to defend himself. Guess what she told that child in front of my face? She told him,

"If he comes at you again, I want you to get a brick, no go to the kitchen and get a knife, and stab him!"

I yelled at her for telling her 6 yr old to stab another 6 yr old, and kicked her out.

Its sad that people died in wars to protect a way of life, that is now being abused by bleeding hearts the political world over, there are no more strong leaders, we all pay higher taxes to support filth the world over, its unsustainable in the longterm. Comes back to democracy and capitalism, two ways of life that will eventually bring about our downfall.

How am I a racist? I only pointed out that any poor class can do it. It has been said the irish so the same to other countries, and Russians as well. And many of the Africans I come in contact with are smart as hell and have a shit load of degrees and work for the federal government or in academia. Toxie can tell you of the African dude that he worked for that was at NASA. You will always have people who try and work the system, you have Chavs in the UK as well. Speak on them, my bad, they are white, so they get a pass from you.

Don't agree there. Only leftist liberals want the underclass. They never encourage the underclass to work hard or better themselves. Instead, they preach welfare and entitlement, which only further discourages the underclass from setting goals and taking action. The whole concept of America..originally..not what it is now..is that in this country you actually have the opportunity to better yourself..Which was proved by the turn of the century immigrants, who worked hard and made a life for themselves. Compare the  Italian, German and Irish immigrants with the lowlife, parasitic third world illegals that proliferate here today.

You're pretty intelligent, but also a victim of the propaganda game.  Where I grew up, if you didn't work, you didn't eat, plain and simple.

When I was a poor, black kid, I spent significant time with several conservative leaders in my home state (NC).  The outside world is told 'work hard and you'll have the opportunity to be successful', but in reality, we only want you to be middle class, nothing more.  Sure, some of you are going to enjoy great success and move into the upper income brackets, but when you pour a ton of time and your life savings into a business startup that fails, our banks are going to be all-too-happy to foreclose on your American dream.

Sure, we want most of you to get jobs and pay taxes - we won't pretend that our position is safe if no middle class exists - but we control the system and can limit your ability to build wealth.

As long as we can keep you angry at 'the other guy', then you'll be less likely to see how much more you have in common with him than you do with us.

...

The super-wealthy on both the left and right are charged with keeping themselves in power and they achieve the same goal through different means.

Don't believe me?  Look at how much 'their savior', Obama, has done so far for the wealthy vs how much he has done for the poor.  The numbers aren't even close, my friend, and if you think the poor and lower-middle classes are going to close the gap a bit during his presidency, you're mistaken.

...

If 100% - over even 50% - of people in those lower classes sought to better themselves, it would eventually lead to a significant decrease in the competitive advantage our children and grandchildren, etc. would have.

I'll gladly give up 33-35% of my income in order to help maintain America's underclass.  True American conservatism relies upon this.

The game we play works, because we're able to keep you and the others who think like you focused on the wrong thing.

I hear what you are saying, but I think Tre's point is valid.  The wealthy love having immigrants work for dirt cheap and that's why neither political party will do anything about the immigration problem.  Lib dems want their votes and wealthy repubs want their cheap ass labor.   If they can't get the immigrants, they will take the trailer trash.....sad reality.

100% correct.

The so-called 'immigration debate' is nothing but a smokescreen by both sides, as both Democrats and Republicans are trying to win Latino loyalty.  Republicans know that their constituents want them to appear anti-immigrant, so they talk about walls and having token anti-Mexican laws in small towns in Texas.  The Dems, on the other hand, know that they need to appear to be all about equality, so they create 'safe towns' and the like.  Meanwhile, we ALL benefit from the cheap labor the immigrants provide.

Remember when the nation's biggest banks like Wells Fargo and Bank of America began giving huge mortgages to non-citizens, who only had to show proof of having paid utility bills in order to demonstrate creditworthiness?  Where was the outrage from *either* side of the aisle on that?

It never came.  Yet, an American citizen who's struggled 20 years to save up $10,000 for a down payment and can afford to pay a $900-1000/month mortgage - we know this, because that's what his monthly rent has been and he's always paid it on time - can't get enough of a loan to buy anything more than a double-wide and a patch of land in the country, while the non-citizens are moving wholesale into the best master-planned communities where their kids will be able to walk to school, while the poor sap's kids will have to ride the bus...a service that he has to pay extra for.

Because the evil banks are interested in keeping them down and would never foreclose on a failed white business?

Probably explains why only blacks are losing their houses right now, the bastards!

dude, you're a guy hater too.  so is Parker and dr. cock.  I don't think one of us here would call you, as in you, Trenuggs the person, a nig nog.  You don't come off as one (even though you love yourself some white women).

At some point in your life, whenever that might've been and for whatever reason, you didn't want to be a homey.  I bet you money that you'd get your fucking shit turned inside out in da hood.

It's so sad.

I grew up in the 'hood and yes, I grew up hating N.O.G.S.  Both of my parents and both of my grandparents worked and while it may have been ok to spend time playing football and basketball with friends, I can probably count the number of hours I spent just 'hanging out' on one hand.

The truths my family shared with me certainly came to pass.  I wasn't allowed to do the crap other kids did and look where most of them are now vs where I am.  I do have lingering issues, but nothing that's preventing me from functioning. lol  I just think about some of the stuff I went through and think about how unnecessary it was.  I could crack jokes on anyone, though (I dominated throughout the years in that department), so whatever they came at me with was going to send them away deeply embarrassed, because I had the ability to go cerebral on those clowns, while still catering to the audience.  I didn't have to fight a lot, but in 6th grade, I was in a fight almost every single day, often because somebody got mad after a verbal beatdown.  Although the story I tell is that I 'never lost' that year, I did almost get choked out once by a kid who had a beef with me.  Instead of confronting me like a man, though, he chose to jump on my back after I'd been tackled during a football game.  That was a total bitch move, so I don't count it.  lol

I didn't have lots of clothes and my family wasn't into brand names.  Even to this day, I am not.  Although today I can afford to dress very nicely, I choose not to.  As I child, I was taught: "If it's on your ass, it's not an asset."  Yet, so many the free lunch kids' parents always made sure their kids wore the finest clothes other people's money could buy.

Life in the 'hood is very different today, though.  Back then, even young thugs - niglets - had a general respect for a community and its elders, but those days seem long gone now. *sigh*
