From possibly imaginary doctor's letter:

This phrase is quite the loaded one when read in context. Not only is he using unique and gaudy identifiers for inner-city people, he now turns it into 'a crisis of culture' (black, poor, undereducated, etc.).

It is a class thing that healthcare is centered around, not a race thing. People might do well to remember that.
Moose is now a miserable fear mongerer. And he knows damn well that the American health 'crisis' is not a struggle over health, but one of power and money. Has been since before Nixon first approved the HMO's. 'Course he's a DC, so he has a direct stake in such a power and money struggle. Hypocrite.

I believe it. I also always notice when coloreds are in the ER they have to have half their family tree in there with them. When they leave it looks like Hurricane LaToya went through there. Skittles all over the floor, empty bags of Flaming Hot Cheetos, spilled Orange Crush, McDonald's fries on the floor... just a complete mess.

I can't even count how many times the black nurses or black doctor's get into arguments with patients because the patient says something along the lines of them having a profession or them not playing the 'special treatment cuz I a sista or brutha' game with them. I've hear this one female doctor who is black go off on so many black patients yelling... "That is NO EXCUSE! I was raised without a father and on welfare but I chose education and a life of productivity. I will NOT be your attending doctor anymore. I will send in another doctor. " and they storm out.

Coloreds get angry at other coloreds for getting an education and 'acting white'. The same doctor I am thinking of. She is black. I've HEARD her tell black patients... "what does FIN, mean? I'm sorry but please speak to me like an adult. I am not your 'homey' outside."

I often have to translate ebonics and street slang just like I do on Getbig.

Doctor: How long have you been feeling chest pain, maam?

Patient: I be feelin' it fo' a MINUTE.

Doctor: Just one minute? It started a minute ago when you came in?

 Patient: Naaaa... fo a MINUTE!

Doctor: I'm sorry... you were triaged in 30 minutes ago. You told the triage nurse your chest pain has been present since last night. Did it go away and come back a minute ago?

Patient: Naaaa... isss been like dis fo a MINUTE.

Blockhead: Uh, Doc. She means it's been hurting her for quite some time. " a minute" means "a while".

 - Block!

Im sorry but this post is brilliant.. ;D ;D

Thanks for correcting me, but it doesn't excuse the fact that started a thread based upon a email that was from a ficticious person. It shows that you can goaded into making rash decisions w/o checking out the facts first. That right there is what a buffoon does.
Should we punish those who do not take care of their health? No health care for them. Or only minorities that resemble the caricature in the ficticious email.

it was sent to me by my financial planner- a very reputable, large firm-they are NOT buffoons

even if the article were untrue (its not), it still speaks volumes of the TRUTH, which many here avoid

Punish all who do not take care of their health-if they happen to be black, fuck 'em

I agree 100%.  The only problem is, we the taxpayer have to dole up the money while losing the power to fight against it.

Not angry, but it is getting a bit wearisome trying to balance your demagogic rants with something a bit more balanced and based in reality.

LOL. Posting up Glenn Beck-type blog nonsense is 'heavy on the integrity!?' You know, when a serious journalist is caught plagiarizing or making up sources they lose all credibility and are effectively considered  persona non grata. There's something in that.  ;)

Easy to ridicule Glen Beck, but even more amusing to watch the parade of Marxists he outs resign from the White  House.

Did you know that the proposed healthcare bill increases medicaid by something like 150%?
So, the government will be giving free healthcare (on taxpayor money) to even more people.

I agree with the above poster who basically said healthcare is not a right but a good society has a responsibility in making sure they have fair and accessible healthcare system.

It is the far left liberals who want to keep giving people free things and expanding multiple taxpayor funded entitlement programs.  In general, this is the worst idea.  Free handouts and entitlements have led to more lazy, demanding people who expect to be given things.  It doesn't help to create hard working productive people and certainly doesn't help give them the leg up that some originally thought it would.  Focused assistance is different than free handouts if done properly.

I've seen the same thing as others earlier in the post....with a large % of medicaid folks abusing the system and not at all appreciating the free care they are given.  They have little money but they are often demanding and have the latest popular car, electronic gagets or shoes.  The way they treat their kids, even worse.  That's a breakdown in culture and ethics.  By giving people everything, we help continue the breakdown.

What surprises me the most is the number of registered Republicans who do not self-identify as 'conservative'.  The conservatives on welfare are one of my favorite target groups.

To my point with handouts....it's not just the poor who become comfortable in their laziness and ethics when given handouts.  The same thing happens often happens to kids of rich parents.  If people don't have to work for things, they usually don't develop strong character and solid work ethic.

Stop the liberals from giving handouts...make them create opportunity.

when the big o took over for the bushmaster, the first thing he did was save the country by throwing money willy nilly at all the problems as he saw them, talk about tunnel vision. he bailed out banks  he bailed out the auto industry, a lot of this money went to give these bozo's bonuses. that's right guys that ran there businesses down the toilet gave themselves bonuses, where's the justice? where is the first thing he went after to infuse money back into the system, i'll tell you, he cut the cola{cost of living adjustments} to the elderly and cripples on social security the group he pledged to help was the first group he screwed over. who deserves the money more some old person who worked all their life and paid into the system or some overpaid fat cat who ran their business into the toilet and then took the handout and pocketed  instead of pumping it back into the economy. how look before he  passes legislature to start his death squads {death panel} first we had  george orwell's 1984 we're their now with all the video cameras and phones out there, and soon we'll have logan's run. it's only a matter of time. repent now the end is near.
