Damn, love tator tots

One of my friends (and for the life of me I can't think of who  ::) ) makes a tator tot casserole for her kids and they absolutely love it.  I think the tots are used as a topping before baking or something.  I'm sure there's all sorts of recipes out there - recipes.com - cooks.com

Thanks Princess, just found one, but I'll make it without cheese

TATER TOT CASSEROLE

1 lb. hamburger
2 cans cream soup (anykind you prefer)
1 lb. pk.of shredded cheddar cheese
1 lg. bag tater tots
12 oz. can of Durkee cheddar onion rings
1/2 c. milk
1/4 c. sour cream
pinch of parsley
salt and pepper, to taste

Preheat oven to 450°F.
Brown hamburger and drain. Place in the bottom of a well greased 13x9x2 baking dish. Add the shredded cheese.

In a bowl, combine the following ingredients:

2 cans cream soup
1/4 c. sour cream
1/2 c. milk
parsley
salt and pepper

Mix well and pour over the hamburger and cheese. Cover the top with tater tots. Add the Durkee onion rings and sprinkle with parsley for garnish. Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes. Then remove foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes or until browned.

That doesn't quite look like the "kid friendly" one.  :-\  I'll see if I can find the one my friend makes.

Can't find it  :-[  sorry.  I seem to recall it having corn and not so much "cream" stuff - something more "tex-mex-ish".

You can put like 4/5 porkchops in a crockpot w/ some veg stock , chopped garlic and bbq seasonings let it go until it's fork tender .. take it out and shred it up .. take the "juices" and reduce them .. put the meat back in the reduced juices.. grab a roll and make some great pulled pork sammiches with some monteray jack on top ... mmm yummm
