Name me the republicans that voted for obamacare.

why don't you look them up

and what is your point

are you admitting to the fact that the Dems really couldn't do much given the Repubs use of filibuster in the Senate?

are you actually admitting you're aware of reality?

Name me the republicans that voted for obamacare.

the 18% of 2004 GOP voters that stayed home in 2008.

They are responsible for obamacare.  he promised to do it.  And you lazy shites stayed home because your VP was defeated in 72 seconds by Katie Couric.

Really - please show me the clip from 2008 in the campaign where obama promised an individual mandate to buy insurance from a private carrier.

no - just saying that when they really wanted something - they got it.

so by that standard Obama and the Dems must not really have wanted the things they didn't get or they just could have willed them to happen?

the filibuster would not have mattered at all?

Yes I do.   Try again - please show me where Obama promised an individual mandate as part of health care.

The Republicans didnt have the fillibuster the first year and the second year they didnt have it in defacto terms either because of Susan Collins, Olympia Snowe, Scott Brown, and Arlen Spechter.

They made sure they got a certain number of Republicans to vote for it as well, removing the filibuster by invoking cloture I'm guessing.

I am not an ultimate knowledge of the this myself, but it sounds reasonable.

What happened is that the Senate had already voted on a version of Obamacare that the House had not yet approved BEFORE the GOP had gotten the 41st vote to forge a filibuster. After the GOP got the 41st vote the Democrats got the house approved plan through the Senate again with a "reconilliation" vote, which only requires a majority vote but is only used on simple budget bills. It was highly unethical and contreversial . Not a single Republican voted for Obamacare. If people are going to support this freakshow of an administration, the least they can do is get thier facts straight.

To put it lightly, I'm not an Obama supporter.

But he WILL get re-elected again. He's going to get the black vote again, latino vote, the young liberal 20 somethings will vote for him again.

I hope the Republicans are kidding when they mention Trump as a potential candidate. Does he have ANY political experience? Trump is almost as liberal as Obama is!

Really?

What crimes against the American tax payer?  He extended tax cuts for the rich a move he regretted and will not do again.  Rich need to be taxed big time 2x what they get taxed now.  Unemployment isn't that big of a problem because people can stay on unemployment and receive benefits for almost 2 years, so people are satisfied.  Obama 2012!

relax,,

a president is mesured by what he achieve,,every president has a list for its time,,1 to 10...obama failed everything but he achieved number 1 on the list ,, that = second term ,,

no matter how you hate the fella,,no matter how not qualified he was,,THIS! made him qualified,,

this is not matter of discussion ,,gas prices can be 6 dolaros it wont matter,,

obama finished osama...end!

for that kind of a win ,,which is always followed closely and approve by president since they ask him if he want him dead or alive,,he chose dead ,,for that he will get second term and most likley get in history ofo usa as good president

That's not true. One Republican from Louisiana did vote for it.

He did that LONG after the Dems got the majority they needed, in order to look good for his district.

I'm not saying otherwise, but he DID vote for it.
