He's not even training though so he has no muscle to lose.. He could easily train and keep all the muscle if not gain some while losing the fat. Do you really lose a 1LB of water for every 4LB of fat? BTW my electronic bodyfat scale puts me at 23%. What should this be if I used the skinfold test?
Good point if he is not training now and introduces it then yes he could gain depends on genetics. I am a roofer and a bodybuilder, off season I am 250 lb and a hot summer day on the roof I have lost 10lb (30 degrees c for 14 hours) in contrast when I am 210 on a hot day I would only drop 2 lb so yes fat holds tons of water. Skinfold test compared to electronic measurement varies per individual but on average 23 % really is only 13-16% on skinfold. In a Dennis James video he is sitting on 6% and he tested 18% electronically, his reaction...."I'm a break this bitch" lol.......he started at 12% dieted for 8 weeks and now he is 18%....you do the math.
