that dude in the first pic (josh duhamel) is actually a big guy...6' 4" and with a decent physique. That height and looks with even an average physique is going to attract most girls. He probably isn't a good example of why being lean is better than being big since few people look like him.  

The example comparing the white skinny guy and black guy isn't necessarily a good example either due to the difference in race. You should have put up two white guys OR two black guys and then see who they would pick.

And yeah, I thought all the the same. However, at the time, it was nerve racking to even be doing this in the middle of physio lab, as you can imagine. Didn't have the time to do the comparisons properly. Just amazing how quickly girls run over when the topic of ideal male bodies comes up haha.
