I often read the "gym stories" on here, and figured I would post one that happened to me earlier today. This is actually a TRUE story, which is what makes it so ridiculous. As soon as I got home I shared the story with my brother who immediately said "this is a getbig story for sure".

So I'm at the gym with a couple of friends and we are doing incline presses and joking around a bit. Most of the time while we are at the gym we will crack a few jokes about eachother being weak on an exercise, or for binging while on the diet. After just finishing up a set of incline press this tall army guy walks over who is wearing a sweaty white t-shirt and black shorts that are almost literally up to his crotch. He says, "You guys think my shorts are funny? You like laughing at me huh?" At first I assumed he was just joking around with us, but then he was like "Well it isnt f***ing funny to me." So I stood up and took a step towards him so we were face to face and calmly told him we couldnt care less what he was wearing, and that if we were laughing at him about his shorts we would be glad to tell it to his face. He says "well I earned these motherf***ing shorts. I'm special forces." He was actually trembling while he talked, probably from the adrenaline rush of thinking he was about to throw down I'm assuming. He claimed we were laughing and looking in his direction, and I explained that we were all just friends joking around, but that he shouldnt walk over to us and try to start a fight when he doesnt know the situation. He then replied "I don't start fights, I kill people" and walked away.

I could hardly believe that this guy actually did this today. Almost seems unreal.

Why wear short shorts if you are going to feel so insecure about them that everytime you see someone laughing you assume they are laughing at you? If he feels that embarrassed he should ditch the short shorts and wear something a little less conspicuous. who knows, maybe he just wanted an excuse to tell someone he was "special forces" lol
